I'd hazard a guess at McLean and Fryatt to start, with Foghorn Leghorn on the bench - to come on at half-time......

......but who would he replace - McLean or Fryatt?

NP usually throws his new signings straight into the first team. However, the exception with old Foghorn is, I say is, that he has just had a couple of games for England (even though he didn't complete either). So I reckon it will depend on how tired he is.

NP would be loathed to drop McLean against his old club and Fryatt being his love-child is beyond droppable!!

    2-2 for me!!

I'd be surprised if he didn't start Mclean v his old team.

I'm going for McLean and Waghorn to start. Fryatt needs a wake up call!

Well i am going with Fryatt, what is this obsession with playing two upfront, especially away from home. Pretty much every victory away from home last year came with one man up top, and i think it is a far better away to stick with one upfront.

Sorry but you can't drop Fryatt. Simple as. Top class striker, and the only person in are team that can finish.
Why not play all 3 of them? but then i think would you do that away from home?

    -----------Basso
    Rosenoir Chester Hobbs Dawson
    -------McKenna Evans-------
    Koren -----------------Waghorn
    McLean -- Fryatt---Brady

I think we might get in trouble if we field 12 players.

Impossible to predict this one, Waghorn just scored two goals at international level and has had time to recover, it's against Mclean's old club and Fryatt has been our best striker(even if he has looked out of sorts in the past few games), it's anyone's guess. I'd play Waghorn, he's got something to prove and he'll be bursting with confidence.

I think he'll start with 442 with Fryatt and McLean up front and bring Waghorn on for McLean (after he's scored his hat-trick!!) with 20 to go!

    Fryatt and Waghorn for me.

Fryatt may need to get his finger out but he;s still better than Mclean.

Can't see Fryatt being dropped.. ever. Not by NP anyway.

Although it'll be interesting to see where NP's loyalties now lie.. he didn't like Simpson so refused to give him a chance, but favours Fryatt, Waghorn and McLean, when he can only start two of them. Waghorn on the bench for saturday but after that it'll be a Waghorn-Fryatt partnership.

I'd go with McClean & Waghorn. I agree with others, Fryatt needs a wake up call. He has had every oportunity to take his chance in the side but has squandered those chances.

I still rate Fryatt but he needs reminding that his name is not always guaranteed to be first on the team sheet, plus McClean with have a point to prove against his former club and Waghorn has shown he is in great form with his two goals for England. I'd start with McClean and Waghorn and let the game dictate which one of them should be pulled off after about 60 minutes for either Barmby or Fryatt or both.
