"with Danny Graham expected to depart before the end of the transfer window." - Is the only positive thing I can see on that report.
He did alright in the Prem considering it was a Hull side being taken down by a **** manager. 5 goals in 15
Scored a brace against Palace. Was only at Hull for a few months and had a relegation release clause. Arrived end of Jan, scored 3 in his first 4 games. Can't be any worse than Altidore! I read all that just now.
This was reported a couple of months ago that N'Doye would be allowed to leave this month, because of problems with his wages and that Allardyce would be in for him, so I can see this having legs. He's not that bad, especially for the situation we are in...
Goals aren't my concern really. Is he a better back to goal forward than Fletch? We've got nobody to keep the ball further up the pitch. Everything that goes out comes straight back. If he can hold the ball up well I'm happy
I thought he looked very decent for Hull and I'd be happy for us to take him, especially on loan so we aren't at risk of getting fisted for him.
Couldn't be any worse than what we have other than Defoe. If some of your comments have real substance, he could be a good'un.
Shop Window for the Lad, bang half a dozen in and he'll get his move from Turkey. Hope we get him and move Danny on.
Indifferent about N'Doye really. Looked OK against us but nothing special, never saw him play other than that. Wrong side of 30 to be a long term move, is he really worth bothering with? I'm not sure it's much of an improvement on Fletcher personally. On a different note (seems an appropriate thread), I've seen a couple reports (nothing substantial at all mind) linking us with Ciro Immobile. I remember @Mr Gonads raving about him a while back, but judging purely by his stats he seems to have lost his way a bit. Don't suppose you've been following his career at all fella? Is he any good?
Who cares about long term this window? It should be entirely about keeping us up. If he can hold the ball up he's better than Fletch. Let's hope he can do the job.
To be fair I think Fletch has looked decent when he's played this season, certainly no worse than this lad who I can barely even remember from last season...
Cracking player who's chosen clubs that don't play to his strengths mate, he needs crosses into box like he had at Torino and he will be lethal. Neither Dortmund, or Sevilla play that way, he's chosen badly. I'd take him in a blink but imagine he'll end up back at Torino.
How do you know? You said you've only seen him once. He'll get my full backing and I'll judge when I seen a bit of him. Fletch has turned up here and there but has been largely ineffective, otherwise ball retention further up the pitch wouldn't be a problem.
Are Sunderland shopping from the 'reduced to clear bin' ? have they got money to spend ? Are they thinking cheap to offload if they get relegated
we are not going down, our lads will pull off another 7 point defict, Sam will sign well and we will draw at Arsenal tomorrow (I have not been on the booze either !)
