Just heard through the grapevine that it's likely that Nicky Maynard is heading to Cardiff in January. You lads know anything about this?
To improve his prospects of Premiership football of course, plus the lad can still base himself in Brizz,so no upheaval.
With all due respect, he can (and will) do a lot better than Cardiff. It's rumoured that Fulham are interested in him and I dare say that they'll offer pay him considerably better than Cardiff could afford to, and he'll not be in a relegation fight from the off. That's assuming that Cardiff ever get to the Prem in the first place.
cardiff are 3rd and you're 22nd? so we're in the play off positions and you're in the relegation zone... good one
Sparkey, you would love us to beat Southampton because your deficit with tham would be reduced,it will be a close game, but here's hoping....
Well you didn't think I want you to beat them just for your sake did you?............... Come on Wurzel City!!! (on Saturday anyway )
I live in Gloucester where the Moreland (Englands Glory) factory used to be. They lost ALL their strikers. (At least they weren't SWAN Vestas )
Clingo - I remember the Morelands match factory in Gloucester very well from my childhood. Both my sets of granparents lived in Gloucester and Cheltenham for a while. I can recall a big Union Jack flag on the building with the words "Englands Glory" somewhere there - bit like the Swan's home games.
if cardiff got promoted then i could seriously see maynard moving to them, he wouldn't have to move house, his family will be happy, and he'd had prem football, but this is cardiff were on about
What a load of old tosh! There is no way Nicky would join Cardiff! Its a good hour drive from Bristol to Cardiff (stadium-stadium) with no traffic, so he would probably have to move! Can you imagine telling your friends............. Oh i live in Cardiff..... They would probably laugh at you and never talk to you again! Police have cracked down on the Sheep Shagging front..... The big problem they are facing now are Ram Raiders
It seems you lads are finding this news hard to swallow,a bit like that salty Sunday roast lamb.Remember why it's so salty me old muck bathers.
