Just to let you know you have signed John Obika,he has scored 21 goals in 103 appearances in his career.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Obika
Wiz, I can't find reference to this anywhere - how do you know? I'd be happy if Obika did sign, he's not massively prolific but he seems to be a decent player and Yeovil, in the league above, have had him back a few times.
It looks like I'm telling you crap Bbd,I had a conversation last night (no names,no crap being handed out)and was told it was happening, sorry mate I've jumped the gun and I'm wrong,I honestly thought I was giving you some good news....... Interestingly enough some other mug fell or it on your own forum... http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?/topic/105614-obika-signs/
Oh that's a pity - thought he might be an ok interim solution for us. Thanks for letting me know. Oh well, back to work.....
27 Sep 2012 07:48:33 Bristol Rovers are following Forest Green Rovers striker Ben Wright and were at last nights game at Hereford. One will be Tottenham Hotspur striker Jon Obika, and the other will be Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester Have also heard that rovers are in advanced talks with darius vassell who is a free agent. 23 Sep 2012 22:04:00 Ibra Sekajja has been told by Dougie Freedman that he may be good for him to go out on loan, clubs who are reportedly interested are Conference teams York City and Bristol Rovers. More from the rumour mill including Obika funnily enough......
They are what they are poor quality rumours, just like the Brett Pitman one. Rovers have a wage cap so DV looks a loooong shot. Ben Wright is all wrong no way reportedly interested are Conference teams York City and Bristol Rovers Wiz are you saying that Rovers are already a conference team COR
