Actually may have more to do with the fact that he's need for U21 games. What with the Tank and (hopefully) Dembele needed in the main squad - at least for Cup games.
I noticed he'd only been getting the odd 20 minutes at the end of games. 20 minutes in league 2 isn't the sort of experience he needs.
