I quite like Zamora but for the city game I reckon we will park the bus big time and

    1. Zamora will hold up the ball but not do a lot with it without support
    2. Cisse might run 30 ards on his own and score a wonder goal from a punt up pitch - plus he looks dangerous every time he gets the ball.

would anyone else change the front man for this game?

    My team would be

    Usual back 5
As mobile a midfiled as we can get

mackie, barton, diakite, derry and yes swp as its city and he has pace

    cisse up front

sorry zamora and taarabt but we have a job to do namely
    1. park the bus
    2. defend and defend at pace
    3. punt it up pitch and hope for a solo wonder goal

    thoughts?

i realise saying this I have Derry and Clint on the pitch but we have to don't we?

Id have Traore in at LW instead of SWP, he has the same pace but can defend better.

I think he will start Zamora and then bring on Cisse if we are a goal down with 30 to go hoping his pace will upset the tired defenders.

Very defensive, with the possibility of hitting them on the break. If we fall behind, who better to get us a goal then Cisse?

Cisse and DJ - great for the counter attack.

No way can SWP play against them. He is crap and Citeh to the core - still hangs out with them, heard he was in their dressing room after a recent match.

I've said on another thread that although Cisse is the more dangerous forward Zamora is the ideal man to hold and shield the ball which also gives the defenders a little bit of a breather, and boy are they gonna need that outlet on Sunday. I think MH will go with a 4-3-2-1 formation flooding the area in front of the back four denying City space. This is what I think MH will play:

    ------------Kenny------------

    Onuoha--Ferdinand--Hill--Taiwo

    -----Derry--Barton--Diakite----

    -----Mackie--------Taarabt----

    ------------Zamora------------

Adel has to play to give us any hope of something special to surprise them with. SWP and Cisse will probably appear in the last 25 minutes...

After seeing the Man Utd game (and yes I am aware that Zamora was not playing) I think having a striker to "hold the ball up" is completely pointless against teams such as Citeh and Utd, because nobody can get near them when they get the ball. We'd be better off having Cisse there to work his arse off shutting down the ball in the right areas to give us a hope of getting a goal. I think Bothroyd had a good game against united, and no worse than what Zamora would have done.

Is Helgusson still crocked? Would be good to see him (rather than Zamora) knocking down for Cisse. I think he poses a more serious threat. Guess he's not available, huh?
