Derek McInnes has said he is hoping to sign a target man in January.....hang on a minute what about stead or even ryan taylor http://www.bcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10327~2551041,00.html

I Think in January/August there will only be 1 striker out of the current lot still here, and that's pitman and maybe taylor

    Maynard - Fulham
    Stead - Championship team
    Clarkson - Back To Scotland
    Pitman - Star Striker
    Taylor?

if we did lose 3/4 strikers would we replace them with 3/4 or 2 quality

ive just seen doncaster chairmen has put a 3 million price tag on sharp.....tbh that's affordable http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...3m-release-clause-leave-Doncaster-Rovers.html

Jordan Rhodes would be a quality replacement for maynard

Reports are linking maynard with a 4 million move to fulham....if there offering that he's theres http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...n-Jol-eyes-Nicky-Maynard-for-the-Cottage.html

Next years teams going to be very intersting with so many people out of contract and with a few loans expiring it's going to be an interesting one

    **************???

    Skuse ****???????****??????****???????

    Adomah ***??????**** Kilkenny***???????

    *******Pitman*****?????????

Its bound to change, and I suppose we hope it does.
McInnes will want to start a re-building program. The good thing about this season is he will know exactly what we already have here, and is less likely to throw the baby out with the bath water.
After the fiascos of the past few years I for one feel that we need a whole new ball game (cliches intended)

yes i'm with GG here, as i'm sure everyone else is. And I believe we can keep Jamo in employment until he calls it a day and becomes our back room staff.

However, if we replaced our back 4 and sold or pensioned off
    Bolasie
    JCR
    McCallister
    Clarky
    LJ
    Stewart
    Ribs OR Joe
then we could use the money to buy a couple of half decent players. I have a feeling Steady might get disillusioned with the bench by the season's end if McI brings in 'a tall center forward'

Shiny - I know you're a big Jordan Rhodes fan (as am I) but he won't come here when the likes of Celtic are courting him, nice though it would be.

Stead is a bit of a journeyman and it wouldnt surprise me if he wanted to move on or if Del doesn't like the look of him.

Maynard will leave, of that I'm fairly certain, and therefore I hope Pitman gets a decent run in the team. He deserves it.

Agree that I'd like to see Kilkenny stay, and Albert

Jordon Rhodes will never come here, he will view it as he could be in the Championship next year so why sign to a team in the bottom four.
Likewise Billy Sharp won't come to a team 2 points above the team he is at the moment.
Both these players will be looking to join higher Championship or in Sharps case maybe a prem team.
I think being a fan we only see players that are setting the world alight but a manager will hopefully spot a gem. I know we only had him for 2 games but Coppout saw something in Adomah and I think he started scouting Pitman before Millen took over.
Del was recognised for spotting players and getting them to St Johnson so hopefully now he has mentioned that he wants to improve his forward line he has someone in mind

I hope what Del has in mind to bring in is a lot better quality than other Scottish strikers we've had here over the past few years, i.e Clarkson and Lee Miller........

it seems scottish mifielders have better success in the championship than strikers, so maybe murray davidson will be.....THE ONE

at the moment we are only playing with 1 striker with two supportive wide players so we don't need as many strikers as we have but DM has said he likes to play 4-4-2 so i am sure we may see that next season after he has had the summer to move players on and bring in new players.

To reduce the wage budget then I can see Maynard, Stead and Clarkson going as that will save about £30k a week as Stead and Clarkson will not get any first team action so pointless paying high wages to people not paying.
That will leave us with Pitman as our senior striker with Ryan Taylor and Marlon Jackson as back up and a space for a new striker which would be a good four to have. I would like to see more of Jackson as he is scoring plenty in the reserves and I think he could be the Daniel Sturridge of our team as he has a similar build and pace on him. Front three of Jackson-Pitman-Jackson I'd love to see in the up coming cup game to trail it out.

Ryan taylor is injured saw him play in the friendly against bath city did not do much to impress but did score other wise had very little of the ball where as clarkson was the opposite and did not score! hit both post and the bar!

Please don't compare Clarkson to Lee Miller - DC is a decent player which we would all see if he ever got a run in the side linking midfield and the forward line...
