@SkySports_Keith : Understand Sunderland have had a bid accepted for an unnamed striker, and are now discussing personal terms with him #SAFC
Apparently we've asked Sheffield United to recall Evans from his loan at Fleetwood so we can buy him.

The Black Cats are looking to recruit two strikers before tomorrow's 11pm transfer deadline, with Jack Ross making Wigan Athletic man Grigg his number one target. But Sunderland have seen multiple bids for the Northern Ireland international rejected and are now actively pursuing alternatives. According to BBC Sheffield sports editor Andy Giddings, the Black Cats have asked the Blades to recall Evans from his loan spell at Fleetwood Town with a view to bringing him to Wearside instead.
This the new thing this window? ****ing off loans to loan to other clubs? Used to be rare now it’s rife.
I would have Gayle above ANY of those players any day no chance of getting him though, but sky sports say we are in for Tom eaves (gill) and Marquis (Doncaster) both excellent players.
