With some very good moves in the transfer market both on and off the field, lots of pace and a 3-5-2 looking the most possible formation and with JED looking to play attacking who is going to be first choice as the two up front. Please pick you first starting 2

It would have to be Cody Mac and either ASLEF or RMT London Underground Section. Seriously, nobody knows if any of the other names all of whom are relative youngsters, will come good. None of them looked like they could fit the bill in half a game at Folkestone but they all have some degree of potential and it would be disappointing if one of them did not develop into something useful. Other areas of the team look like they have solutions, the strikers might need to be given some patience. Gills fans are not good at being patient.

I've gone for Cody and Norris, they started working together quite well last year and I think Norris is strong enough to hold the ball up playing Cody in. The new guy's might prove to be good I just don't know anything about them yet to make a judgment, give them 20 or 30 minutes against tired legs and their speed would terrorise defences.

I think it will probably start off as Cody and Williamson but from the sounds of this Donnelly he will be pushing all the way.

Looking at the overall style of play in the last two friendlies ( quite pleasing to watch) - it is obvious that we may not be reliant on 'mainstream' strikers for our goals this season.

We have pace in our midfield - and there is a reasonable amount of ability - we need to harvest their ability by ensuring that we use their pace to attack with midfielders taking the initiative -- of course it would be nice if one of our forwards could find 25 goals this season.............. don't ask Mark McCammon - THAT would take him 15 years
