When logging in im lookin in prem at really strange blogs about Pulis being booted out out !!! 8th in the prem League FA CUP FINAL THE PEOPLE AND THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE is this a stupid joke ???????????? Gobsmacked .. if we sacked him tom go on who else !!! For instance imagine if Arsenal had him this year they would of won the title with a month spare !!! Easy as well he gives us backbone with his resources ..... end off
Look at the date when I posted those blogs we were playing very poorly and the style of play and our general play and effort was atrocious. And I don't think it was an unreasonable thing to suggest at the time that maybe Pulis had taken us as far as we can, remember we were playing very poorly, but then Pulis changed the team around and the rest is history. Please look at the dates of my blogs, and remember how we were playing at the time, I can assure you I wasn't the only one slightly pissed off with Pulis' tactics during February and early March before he saw light and played Jermaine, Matty and Whelan in the starting XI constantly.
I've never been a part of any "XXXXX OUT!" campaign, including any other set of fans I've heard banging on about whoever is in charge is useless. I think it's ridiculous to think that the manager knows less about tactics and his squad (whom he sees train everyday) than us nerds bashing away at our keyboards.
I never said I was part of a "Pulis Out" brigade I was suggesting that if we continued to play like we had done, we would've been in real strife and perhaps a fresh approach could be the way forward. But fair play to Pulis he bit the bullet, got us playing a better and attacking brand and it's paying dividends.
Not saying you were Sarge, I've not read the blogs in question, just what potterpalm posted. But even so I'm gonna carry on with what I was gonna post. No one is a fan of Pulis' negative tactics, and most people have a rant about what they think should be done, but for anyone to say a manager should be sacked is just silly. If we knew that much about football we'd all be professional managers! Also, the part of the season in question, if TP had gone all "Blackpool" instead of playing it how we did, it's highly probably we wouldn't be where we are now. In my opinion we haven't looked in any danger, had one or two bad results, getting thrashed by West Ham and drawing with West Brom are the only ones I can think of.
Hi Sarge .... sorry m8y i saw the blogs after a glass o shandy and never looked at any dates ...... Pulis is now turnin out a team playin football and scorin goals what a transformation in a few months from the dark and cold winter !!!! UTP
I always though our poor form was due to the bad luck of having several of our key players hitting bad patches all at the same time. We could handle one or two of Matty, Kenwyne, Jermaine, Ryan, or Walters being out of form at any one time, but to have all of them misfiring at the same time was something any team would struggle with.
