We seem to have acquired some new additions to the site... Now you can like or dis-like a post straight away, and your name is visible for all to see.... Just to test it out, everyone dis-like this post........ Just another way to clutter up things.....bet the rep people are gonna love this....
See it works, cheers Shameless... What pain in the arse this is, everytime someone likes or dis-likes a post, you get a notification at the top of your page....so most will just ignore them thinking it's a like or dis-like when it could be a pm.....
So it's a short cut to the rep thing, and will also bring the number of posts down drastically, as no-one will type anything, and just go for the like/dis-like button..... Not606 in Facebook fashion shocker.
Just woken up to 8 PM's, all from people I dont know telling me they dislike posts I cant remember, first I have heard of it but dont like it.
Morning Syd, I knew you'd be up and about early so thought I'd see what you had to say about this. I'm in the same boat, loads of notifications, funny thing is, I've barely posted for some time, someone's went trawling through old posts, and like you say it isn't anyone we know.
Just been on GC to read about it, I can see problems ahead, its a new toy from Mick but I don't think he has thought it through and what's worse is I cant see a way to delete the dislike posts, GC heaven.
Apart from all the notifications, it will kill conversation, many people will just use the like/dislike icon rather than post a response. I can't see this going down well, seems all the notifications are from GC.
This is gonna kill the rep mags... Wait till Agent Bruce wakes up and see's all his red bars.. The lads from GC have been busy.
The daft little bars under your achievements....red for negative. Seems they have been dis-liking every post....
Mick has also managed to destroy all the banners so this idea is going from bad to worse. I have asked him ti kill it so lets see what happens tonight.
