With West Ham United now clear favourites to go up this term, it sets out an interesting coincidence of teams beginning with the letter B next season. that is now Blackburn, relegated tonight and Bolton likely to follow, to make this occur. That would give us sixteen games against sides starting with a B......must be some kind of a record! Barnsley, Bristol City, Burnley. Bolton, Blackburn, Brighton. Blackpool, Birmingham. Pissed again Dom!
Very true although I really want Bolton to stay up. Nothing sentimental about that (although I like Owen Coyle's enthusiasm for the game) just that I want those cocky sods from Loftus Road to come back down again. Then we'll see what their owner thinks about their future. There are some debts to be reclaimed from them after last season.
I'll definitely concur with that. Have to admit though, they were good value for their promotion last year and deserved it, but I've never really liked the club since Stan packed it in. Saw him a couple of times at Loftus (when Chelsea were playing away) just after Rod Marsh had left for Man City - what a talent.
