The filly is still a maiden but the word is, she really enjoyed herself at this specialist track when bumping into one in Stone Of Folca recently and she is expected to get off the mark today. There is alot of pace in the race and none can be ruled out with any certainty, but connections feel she is handicapped to win this. Currently best price 5/1 with William Hill. A large win bet is advised. The Irish boys are as confident as ive ever known about a double at Naas today. The first is Requinto who runs in the 4.10. They have assured us that this horse is a class act and is expected to duly bolt up. The second leg of the double runs in the 4.40, Jim Bolgers filly, Teolane. The word from the yard is that this filly is going places, they think she will win the Moyglare this year so defeat is out of the question today. Requinto is currently best priced 6/4 and Even money is widely available about Teolane, making this 4/1 double a stand out bet. A large win double is advised and for the bigger stakes players, Even money about Teolane is Even money about a 1/3 shot.
What can i say, Requinto was too bad to be true. Teolane was probably the best 11/10 shot you will see all year, she is a group filly. Welsh Inlet ran well for a 13/2 shot, the rain probably didnt help her cause but I would watch her next time when they drop back to 5.
