Straight back down !

There will always be a possibility that this can happen, talk last season was that the Championship was the worse for a few years, if that's the case Cardiff, Hull & Palace will be in trouble but it was also said that the Prem saw its worse year too with Arsenal in the doldrums but getting 4th place.

Many teams will be very different from last season with both players and managers changed.

How do I see it ?

It's not going to be a cakewalk but I believe that there will be up to 6 teams below us.

Hull & Palace
Sunderland, Stoke & Southampton.

Norwich (I hope they stay up).

Things against us.

Too many Championship players we need 3 or 4 to make the grade.
A hard start, we need to pick up a few points early.

Things for us.

We play as a team, no prima donnas.
We will be an unknown quantity there will be teams who think there only need to turn up.
Malky & Vince they want this as much as us.

My personal opinion is that saints will definately not finish below you , weather you stay up or not

Our defence worries me. The lack of pace will have a huge impact on where we finish. Imagine if two of the back four are injured. Can you imagine Nugent at centre back or McNaughton getting dragged all over the shop by any half decent Premiership striker. My hope is that MM signs at least 3 defenders.

If the defence isn't beefed up as a matter of priority we will be lucky to survive but as ever I hope I'm wrong.

All I know is, that the Mighty Swans will be sitting well above Kairdiff come end of season, and I'll put money on it old Sparkey dear!...............<laugh>

No Phil, you won't do either. That's finish above us. nor put money on it - you've welched before...........<laugh>

Anyway, the odds must have changed. The exchange rate for Gower Groats against Sterling has gone down. Huw took his dividend and the market saw it as a bad sign.........<laugh>

I bet you haven't you told VA they're being paid for Bony in Gower Groats. Come to that, does Bony know he can only cash his paypacket at Caswell Post Office?
