I may be away from the internet for a couple of days so I can't wait to see what I'll be coming back to. This IS NOT a disaster. It is ONE game. Transfers won't necrssarily fix things. Training and learning from the mistakes will. It is a lot cheaper. Lots of teams get thrashed in one gane but do well over a season. As the olympics has shown, getting behind the team and encouragement helps whether they are winning or losing. Most athletes whether they won gold or came last said the crowds cheering and encouragement helped. The crowd even applauded the athletes who, for example, missed a high jump or pole vault. So stop being so negative and get behind the team.
Didn't Man Ure get thrashed 6 - 1 at home last year????? For God's sake man up and grow a pair! 4 or 5 years ago we were losing to a lot worse teams than Fulham, let's have some perspective please! ONE GAME!!!!
This result should provide all the motivation the team need to go out and beat QPR. Unfortunately they're probably thinking the same thing as us, but I guess we'll see.
On the match day I'm very positive at the game I'll sing and cheer even if we're getting panned. After the performance today it is very difficult for me not to be critical it wasn't an unlucky game where we were out done by pure style, we seemed like we never turned up and I think that is a massive insult to the fans who to their credit sang their heart out.
Learn from the Olympics? Forget that, I've had a brilliant idea. Let's pool our resources, get down to the bookies and bet on Fulham to win the league, and Swansea, West Brom and West Ham to qualify for the Champions League. After all, the season's essentially over, isn't it?
We are Norwich we do rubbish starts and sometimes terrible finishes but we should be ok in the middle I'm not moaning I'm in the sun by the pool with lots of beer
If you r feeling down think how bad it must be to be a Liverpool or QPR fan i expected we would lose at Fulham ( but not by 5!) but for Liverpool to lose to the odds on drop favs Oh and Villas new messia failed !
There are lots of ways to look at this game; 1 - we never get anything from Fulham 2 - new manager , new players. Lambert hangover 3 - been beat heavily on the opening day and done well over all the season 4 - wrong tactics. Holt as a lone striker does not work 5 - lacking creative players 6 - still leaky defence 7 - still lacking in quality 8 - first game We move on to QPR and hopefully get in another CB and striker, play 4 4 2 or diamond please!
I agree we need to stay behind the team etc but we did just lose badly to a fairly average fulham side showing that not only is the gap in our defence plugged but also we still no goal! A defensive mid please mr hughton!
A heavy defeat was on the cards really, the pre-season performances (not results) had been poor. The trend seemed to continue today. That team is nowhere near ready at the moment.
Sorry Wonky, I did, as did all the rest of us, got behind the team.....result, WE WERE ****E, they didn't respond to us!!!!!! ILD OTBC
