Apart from all that. His record at Doncaster and Bournemouth was no better than Trollope

on the 10th January 2012, O'Driscoll will return to football management - replacing Paul Buckle as manager of Bristol Rovers. He was approached by Preston, but felt that he coul do a better job with underperforming Rovers. Bow legged chicken is in tears following the announcement that Sean O'Driscoll would mean Peter Reid was not taking over at Bristol Rovers. He had just sat down with his trousers round his ankles and a box of kleenex when the news was revealed. When questioned by reporters, bow legged chicken was quoted as saying; "My poor Peter Reid. I love him with all my heart. I wish him all the best for the future. He is so handsome. Spaghetti Hoops and fairy lights merrrrrrr".

no he is on the official forum and like me, he wants Reid in charge. However, we are getting a lot of stick because everyone wants the very average SOD in charge <ok>

I agree Chris. In the match at the Millenium, the Gas played the better football by far. Had it not been for two horrendous gaffs in the Gas early defence, we would have probably won. SODs record is pretty average in terms of games won and lost.

Airbus just said in another thread, we need a manager to guide us and win ugly. Not someone who will tell us "Well we played well" when we lose week in week out

Exactly. We aint going to be Brazil. I am fed up telling my mates at work (apologies to Terry Prachett) "I am going to watch the GAS get cheesed". They reply "Don't you mean creamed" yes I says "But it goes on a lot lot longer". For FS this nightmare does not seem to end. We have not got players with skill. But we got a team and they need to play like a team.
