    This!!!

Why shouldnt Lovenkrands get a game after scoring two goals? What kind of message does it send if on form players dont get games?

And I can only assume Cabaye picked up a knock.

Think Cabaye may have been tierd from the shift he put in.

Of course. Makes perfect sense the poster with the name 'JoeyBarton' puts up provocative and ridiculous bullshit on these forums.

There's nothing wrong with criticising Pardew's mistakes - he did make poor subs and regardless of our league position he doesn't deserve a 'break ffs' for making these cockups.

I couldn't be happier with his overall performance, but the subs today were out of character, and thats why so many people are disappointed in them.

Some people need to give Pardew a break. Do we have to be top of the league for him to be given a bit of credit. He made a mistake taking off Ba for Lovenkrands. But, as has been said, Lovenkrands scored twice last time he played. He was always going to get brought on.

The 1 hour goal kick taking is a bad tactic, we should stop it tbh. :/

Did Ba not pick up a knock prior to being subbed? I think the Guthrie change was just to get some fresh legs in the middle as I believe Cabaye ran his socks off! Personnally, I don't think they were too bad changes in the circumstances.

So you acknowledge Pardew had a mare but yet call us miserable for having the brains to pick up on it........

How some peoples brains work is scary.

We played very well today. The manager tried his best to f*ck it up. End of.

3rd place. We are ALL happy. Dont think you're clever by thinking you're the only one. Dunce.

    :D

i think Alan Pardew knows more about his players and the game than all those criticising him on this thread. so sure everyone has their judgements on his decisions but it's precisely his decisions that has got us this far. those still criticising at this stage will never be happy..

What was wrong with bring Lovenkrands on? We were under pressure so he brought on an attacking player who could also put himself about, make a challenge & decent in the air? Not so sure about Guthrie but Lover was a better option than Marv or HBA under the circumstances.
