Is that for calendar year 2014 or something? That's ****ing shocking, and they think that sticking with the same set up will reap rewards. I hate to sound like a broken record, but they're absolutely nailed on for the drop, nothing more or less than that owner deserves for sticking by the most inept manager in all of football.
I would have argued the toss pre season. I was quite impressed with some of our signings, but Jesus, we're ****e. I can't imagine pardew inspiring anyone tbh. Those statistics are shocking.
The most worrying thing for me would be (if I was a Toon fan) that all the players went and hugged him when Cisse scraped a draw for you against Hull at home. Your next two games are probable defeats, if I was you I'd be hoping that you get absolutely thrashed in both games and just hope that Ashley's red mist descends. Attracting goal scorers in January and top defenders when you're in the bottom 3 is nigh-on impossible.
Pretty damning. That Leicester result will paper over the cracks but it all still reminds me of West Ham going down under Avram Grant.
Still people defending the clown. It absolutely beggars belief. The guy is inept. West Ham & Charlton found that out to their cost.
I'd actually say that makes us look like your mid-table average team flirting with relegation Hopefully Gus stays on, some more of his signings come in and we can push on Shocking from Newcastle though Wonder if Ashley has seen some of those stats...
You finished above us last season, we're currently one point above you this season. We're on our worst run of form in 25 years in 2014, yet Spurs have believed for the last few years that they're within touching distance of a title challenge.
Yes but your taking into account the start we had in 2013 under Di Canio... I am going purely off the 2014 stats thus far...
Not sure how I feel about this tbh. We've no idea which signings have been the manager's idea and which have been the DOF for the last year or so, the only ones we can know for certain is that Gus wanted Bridcutt and Buckley... Doesn't fill me with faith in his judgement of player honestly.
Bridcutt has been dire Buckley has looked lively Believe Coates was his as well as he wanted a Uruguayan? Would imagine PVA was the DOFs
Ive just been looking at Leicester's recent form and its good for both of us. They sit on 9 points with Swansea away next. After a few good early results theyve lost to Palace and the mags and failed to beat Burnley at home in their last 3.
The Signing that could truely make things happen is injured, I laughed like **** when you signed him. Why else would Ajax sell their club captain for just 5 million? He had crock written all over him had De Jong. Terrible piece of business. I Predicted he'd get injured quickly
