Have you lot actually made a post on your fantastic win yesterday? Or are you still obsessed with our game?
I'm more concerned about pitch sizes, it's not really keeping in line with playing football is it? It's an advantage yes, and you should take that whenever you can - but no viewer wants to see a team unable to play it's tactics properly because of the size of the pitch. thats your quote liverbird are you telling me you mean,t the pitch was too big?
Why is this guy so obsessed with Liverpool? Very odd. This was his first post in the Man Utd welcome thread - Says to me he is here only to wum. Should a board ban be given?
I was talking about differing sizes, I never said it was too big or too small. But anyway, thankyou for posting the sizes of the pitches perhaps you'll now see my point. Biggest pitch: 8932 Smallest pitch: 7920 That's a 1,012 sq yard difference between the 2 pitches, with all the pedantics on the pitch during the game - why did the FA not feel it would be wise to standardise the pitch size? 1,012 yards is 925.4 metres. Nearly 1sq km difference in pitches. Where does the limit stop?
Its the same for every team so I dont see where all this obsession with stokes pitch is coming from. You deserved to win yesterday but thats football, on another day we could batter someone for 75 mins and lose its just the way it goes, unfortunately I think the league is in man uniteds hands.
Pitches must stay within size guidelines but can be changed longer/shorter wider/narrower at any time as long as it stays within the rules. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/rules_and_equipment/4200666.stm
So the penalty box is 44 yards wide and a pitch can be 50 yards wide. 3 yards difference either side!
I find it strange that, BOTH Utd and Chelsea can play on OUR so called little pitch and beat us... for the last two season's. Liverpool have not. Some fans are as thick as two short one's. Next season, why not make the goals a 2 feet wider you might actually score...
I dont even know what this is about tbh. Just saying I dont have time for any player, be it my teams or others making excuses about something as trivial as pitch sizes. Everyone players everyone home and away in a season, you go to every ground in the league and play on a variety of surfaces, pitch sizes, atmospheres and more. For the money even the worst players in the league are on they have no excuse. If they are asked to play on the sun, they better not ****ing complain!
Congratulations United fan, you've managed to prove to everyone that you're an idiot and earned yourself a ban at the same time.
It's been good having you on the board over the last week and the vast majority of us are not making excuses so don't join in with the wumming.
