We will work very aaard, we will be very unlucky not to get a few decisions and it'll be a pity we didn't take our chances. That's what Tony usually says, and I believe every word!:D

I think the momentum is clearly with WH - I would xpct them to win 2-0.

West Ham playing too well at the moment. Despite our pretty decent record against Sam, I'll say 2-0 West Ham.

You forgot the bit about what a good team they have!!

Think the best we can hope for is a draw and that is unlikely.

I'm another Stokie who does not expect us to get much at WHU...... a draw at best I would think. Upton Park is not a favourite place for Stoke and the Hammers are certainly in form at the moment. Sixth in the table is a good position to be in and I would not have expected West Ham to have started the season so well. I wonder what their fans think of big Sam now.

    Good evening Stoke fans.

What a wonderful one touch passing, festival of total football this one will be!

I'm going for an edgy 1-0 win to the Hammers.

I think it will be a tough one, either 0-0, or 1-0 West Ham.

2-0 to Stoke, call yourselves Stoke fans, you make me laugh,i don't like what TP is doing at the moment, but you don't take it out on the club. I will always hope and back Stoke to win,get a grip, you would have something to moan about if we were in Div 1,i thought i was on the spanners board.

Indeed! He'll say something along the lines of, "West 'Am are a very, very good side" followed by the usual guff.

He'll no doubt big the Hammers up before the game too, so that if we lose it was only what he really expected anyway against such a good top six team.

Crazy - We're being realistic about our chances. No wins in 15 away matches against a side who has lost, what, 1 game all season? West Ham are a good side and if we even draw against them, I will be delighted considering the form and confidence of them right now.

There's a lot of frustration trixter. A lot of frustration about with regards to Pulis. We have shown, especially against the likes of Man City, Chelsea and Man United, that we can play good, positive football and outplay them for periods with our attacking play, but against the teams more our level we cannot do it for some reason. Plus there's the frustration of playing players out of position, his stubborn refusal to buy a proper full back (by my count he has only bought 2 natural full backs in his 2 spells) and his poor man management of certain players and picking his favourites.

I will continue to support the man and the club obviously but I have had the feeling for a while that Pulis may be too set in his ways to evolve the club like he says he wants to. He's a stubborn man and that has got us where we are but he is a little reluctant to change too much. I've often got the feeling Pulis doesn't trust the players to play too much football.

There is a lot of dislike because of his negative approach to nearly every match. I've always been a bit of a Pulis fan, but last season and this one so far I've been getting increasing frustrated, especially now we've shown glimmers of decent passing and possession, but we're only playing one winger and one up front!

To the West Ham posters on this thread

I would love it if Stoke picked up all 3pts on Monday and I suspect so would all the other Stokies on here. I am not a 'Pulis out' person but he does seem to frustrate a lot of Stoke fans by the way he sets the side up. Primarily not to lose. He has made some decent signings this summer but he still seems to employ negative tactics especially away from home. The other point is that Stoke do not usually pick up many points at Upton Park. The hammers are playing well at the moment and may fancy themselves to get a win against Stoke. Stoke are more than capable of getting a result but they would need to push forward and TP is more concerned about not conceding. We do have a strong defensively but if they rely on defending and hoping for a counter then they could come unstuck.

Anyway let's wait and see and hope it's a decent game

The reason why I think it will be 0-0 is because the way both sides will attack will suit both sets of defenders.

Strange choice of games for sky I must say.

Edgy 1-0 to either side or dull goalless draw I think.

calm down!, people are just predicting the score it doesnt mean we arent stoke fans. If we play Man Utd at Old Trafford would you say that we would win?. We havent played well of late and personally I think that we will lose 1-0.

Isn't the reason its on sky is because of the europe games isn't it? and this must be one of the few games with neither side in the champions league or europa.
Have a lot of time for Stoke, going from the championship to a regular Premier League team rarely threatened by relegation with the odd spell in Europe and hardly getting any credit for it, Stoke are whatever promoted side should aspire to be after going up <ok>
