Kevin Friend is a Leicester fan and he has been taken off refereeing Stoke vs Spurs as "it was felt unnecessary to add extra scrutiny on the refereeing appointment.” - read into that what you will... http://www.theguardian.com/football...r-fan-kevin-friend-refereeing-stoke-tottenham
So the replacement referee will probably take it soft on Spurs now to avoid controversy, no doubt that decisions will swing their way.
At least Spurs won't have an excuse now when you win, if he'd been in charge they'd have bitched about it if you win.
Nothing worse than refs who could be seen to be 'bias' as they always overcompensate to show that they arent bias... i was captain of our rugby team at school and used to hate it when our deputy head reffed as he was always so OTT to them!
It would be quite funny if the new referee gives Stoke lot of freekicks and penalties if only to see those Spurs fans who had their knickers twisted at the thought of Friend being the referee melt down on twitter.
