Stoke were completely toothless until they got a goal from a free kick and now they are so much more dangerous. We are just passing it around the box and don't have a clue how to score.
So true - or Keown, come to that. We need some ruthless defenders and to take more shots at goal rather than trying to walk the ball into the back of the net. Add to that Man U are 2-0 and I'm not sure my day can get worse..

Arshavin is an odd one. He must drive you lot mad. One day he looks the business, the next he can't be arsed. I'd sell him, he isn't worth the space.
It isn't a question of whether our players are any good as we know that they are (when they want to be). The truth is that they just didn't try yesterday. I've never seen so many of them tripping over the ball in one game before. That total lack of interest & commitment, combined with a fired up Stoke playing out of their skins, means we were lucky it was only 3-1. We got what we deserved. Well done Stoke. I need a liverpool win to cheer me up now
