Some interesting (and uneducated) views as you would expect:

"0-0 for a home game against Leicester? That makes us about as good as a league one team . Don't be daft, we'll win this one easily or we'll be struggling against relegation. They don't have one top player in their team"

"No disrepect intended but you have an average Championship squad with a few aditions that hold no fear for me"

"Please forgive me for not ****ting myself over a side that we beat easily not so long ago" (He must mean our reserve side that they beat 2-1 wasnt it....oh so easily haha)

"Look on the bright side you will get parachute payments for a few years"

"You know, I hope we dick this bunch of tool bags. Can't stand their attitude or Gary Lineker. ****s" (Classy!!!)

"Leicester aren't a bad side, they will probably scrape survival this season, but they seem to be vastly overrating their squad at the moment"

    <laugh>

Best part of reading through that was the comment " They don't even have one top player in the side". Must have never heard of Cambiasso then. Maybe by next season they might have a change in thinking about Kasper, Moore,Drinkwater,Mahrez, and Vardy!!!

I predict this is going to be a Championship match with a Premier Leagu Ref - i.e. there will be a lot of cards...

Wow talk of over confidence and they obviously have no idea about us suggesting we'll go to defend. How can a little hoof ball side who play in a shed off the A50 take such an attitude I don't know

Stoke are a team we could do with getting atleast 3 points from over the 2 games. Away from home though, I´d take a point now.

2 years ago people would have been laughing at Southampton fans for thinking Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Morgan Schneiderlein etc. could all make an impact in the prem as they was all no ones

Its makes me laugh when people just write players off as crap because they know nothing to very little about them. We proved last year and so far this season that we have had a Premier League squad now for some time

Tbh I'd look at the Stoke squad and think who about most of them. All I know is that they have to prove they have a good hoof on them to fit in there

If Stoke were to offer me a point now, I think I'd take it.

Wait till next week at home for our first 3 points, against some northern team from Manchester :emoticon-0110-tongu

They have some good players but there very hit and miss. I think now is a good time to play them anyway. They lost their last home game against Villa putting pressure on them not to lose again. And they just won at Man City meaning they will expect to beat us quite easily

Well Everton got a point, Chelsea had to work hard for their win and Arsenal was lucky to get away with a point.

So we have proved were no ones mugs

To be fair, I think since Pulis left they use a lot less HOOOOOOOFING the ball forward.

I wonder how many of these idiots will be honest enough to revise their view after the match? I think we need a win and I think we'll get it.

IMO, this is our first match where there is actually some pressure on us to get a result.

You'd look at our first 3 (Everton, Chelsea and Arsenal), and think we'd do well to get anything out of those games. The pressure was off, and we played with freedom and creativity.

This will be an entirely different test. I would actually take a point here, though.

Can we win? Yes, of course. Can we lose? Yes, of course...

A win here makes our start nothing short of brilliant

Another draw makes it decent. If he lose we have done ok

Yes, that's the thing now. There's very few matches were you'd say we are heavy favourites to win (one or two home games like Burnley and Palace). It feels like many of our matches are going to be close, whether we play potential Champion's League winners Chelsea or future Conference side QPR. We'll win our fair share, but we'll probably lose a fair few too. It's exciting and you never know what you're going to get; we could have had 7 points (hard pushed to say we could have beat Chelsea) by now... or we might have had 0. I don't see the Stoke game being any different. Could be any result.

Hi stoke fan in peace, my advise is never read th oatcake forum as the people on there are mainly braindead, every team has them right?, personally I think you have done well this season and it will be a very very hard game against you. As someone said above we do play some good football now, I think we will just nick it today but I wouldnt be surprised if it was a draw, best of luck to you after todays game and may the best team win.

Cheers ricc ... exciting times for us as you'll appreciate ... if we play at the same level as we have done in our opening 3 games then you are in for quite a game ...

they seem to think we are ill informed fans then suggest that with knock and Marhez "Moses and arnie will have a field day with them playing that narrow", although haven bother reading the entire 9 pages criticizing the foxestalk thread. think we are in with a shout today, be interesting to see if Nigel sticks with a team which has been playing well against tough opposition or brings in some new faces.

I agree, and no doubt Mark Hughes will tell the Stoke team to give you the respect you have rightly earned.
