    Stoke City Form Guide:

Stoke City FC remain 10th place on 30 points (-6 GD) - coming off an Away Loss to Arsenal we now return to The Britannia to end a run of 1 win in 9 games (All Comp). The stats don't look in our favour as we have not beaten them in our last 6 matches (except on penalties) and our away perfromance against them was nothing to write home about. We have conceeded 16 premier league goals in our last 6 games and have only 1 win in our last 10 premier league games which was a home win against Liverpool!

LAST 10 Premier League Games: 1 Wins; 5 Draws; 4 Losses: Points (7 from 30)
LAST 39 Premier League Games: 9 Wins; 18 Draws; 12 Losses: Points (39 from 117)

    Reading Form Guide:

Reading currently siiting in 17th place on 23 points (-14 GD) - coming off a home win against Sunderland with a late smash and grab - AGAIN. With 3 wins and a draw in their last 4 and scoring 9 goals they are inform and would imagine fancy their chances.

LAST 10 Premier League Games: 4 Wins; 2 Draws; 4 Loss: Points (16 from 30)
LAST N/A Premier League Games: N/A Wins; 0 Draws; 0 Losses: Points (0 from 0)

Fancy us to come out strong and score early. Fontaine to come on a super sub and score 2 goals and we snatch a late penalty equaliser. 2-2 Draw for me.

1-1 for me. Or if it's a bad day , 1-2. We will take the lead and then as usual , try to defend for the rest of the game. And we all know what that leads to. UTP.

I have gone for a home win, say 2-1. This is a game we need to win and Pulis needs to be positive in his team selection. I have been despondent after giving up a 2goal lead against Wigan but I have now decided to be more positive for this one. We should be more than capable of getting a win against Reading and TP must make the players believe that they can get the 3pts. Also decent results against WHU, Villa, Norwich, and the Baggies at home should see us safe for this season.

2-1 to Reading or 2-2. Can't see Reading not scoring with their scoring record and our defensive record. Not confident about this. Pulis needs a result. Fail to win and there will be bigger boos than the Wigan game.

Oh sod this guys.. last week I did'nt give a monkeys it was ARSENAL away. Agreed that this for Stoke is a six pointer. I'm going for a home win. No if's, but's, why's or maybe's. PULIS owes us this result. For fecking up vs Wigan.

A win and TP please don't say (we need the fans more than ever) IF the lads give US something to sing FOR we WILL. Fingers out and up for it.. up and at em.
    K T F one and all.

So...Reading between the lines, we are not confident of beating a team like Reading at the Fortress eh!!! I mean absolutely no disrespect to Reading, they have stuck to their Manager's principles and have I think, turned the corner but... two points:

Look how far we have come
    AND
Where did Kitson come from again.

Afternoon Potters. Despite your recent poor form, I can't see us winning at yours. i'm going for 1-1.

    Hello Stoke fans.

My view for what its worth. You have only been beaten once at home this season so for us to get a win is a little optimistic. And, as a lot of fans on our forum will tell you, I don't do optimistic.

But you do seem susceptible to home draws so, with that in mind, plus the fact that we have found a bit of form recently, I'm going for a 1-1 draw.

But if its still a draw at the point our super sub ALF is brought on, you might need to hold your breath.

Welcome to the Stoke board, this IMO really is a six pointer for us (Stoke) YOU are doing very well, I think despite the so called experts saying Reading are one of the fav's to go down. I honestly don't think you will. And IF Adam L.F. the goal machine... comes on I for one will be bricking it! WISH we had signed him tbh.

Enjoy the game and good luck after this weekend. <ok>

well despite a bit of pessimism on your board us Royals would gladly change places in the league! We look to Stoke and WBA as the two examples we aspire to be this decade - after going down a few years back (2008) we don't want the tears of being a new yo-yo club!

Of course you would bud, and I am sure that your manager would give his hind leg for the 100 million TP has spent!

Well done with the win guys. Only one team deserved to win it today, and that team wasn't us.

I think its safe to say McDermott got his tactics wrong today, not that he'll admit it.

Good luck for the rest of this season and, hopefully, we'll still be around to play you again next season. Although I say that more in hope than expectation.
