But they need to play in a team that has a system that can be changed and adapted! we don’t
I imagine most coaches would love to get their hands on Malik Wilks. A player with skills ability pace but playing like a **** who dived at every opportunity and makes ridiculous decisions

Agree with this, not a McCann fan but can't blame him/Darnborough for recruitment, we're basically in a take what we can get situation, we're working to a budget and that budget doesn't really allow for us to sign experienced championship players

We have some really talented youngsters but they’re raw. I don’t for one second believe coaches like Chris Wilder, Nigel Pearson, Eddie Howe, Valérien Ismaël or even Neil Warnock wouldn’t get more out of this squad of players, particular the younger ones like Wilks, KLP, Greaves etc.

We’ve got a League 1 coach in charge of a squad that imo could finish mid-table with a better manager, even with the embargo. Ismaël got a squad of inexperienced youngsters into the play-offs last year. Wilder took Sheffield United to the Prem with the same core of players he started with in League 1.

exactly, we need an experienced manager who can coach these players every day & teach them what they have learnt over many years. But a decent manager expects a decent salary & will want money to spend in the Jan window. We can only pray that the alleged sale of the club actually happens & we get new owners that will fund both of these things
