Stoke City have made a double bid to Birmingham in the hope of securing deals for both Scott Dann and Cameron Jerome. The Potters' combined offer is believing to be around the £16 million mark. Blues are yet to respond to the offer. Both players would be keen to return to the Premier League immediately following Birmingham's relegation. But the club might hold our for individual deals for the two players, especially given that the level of interest in Dann could spark a bidding war. Stoke bid for in-demand centre-back Dann - a target for Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa - earlier this month in the hope of beating their rivals to complete a deal. That offer was rejected by Brimingham. They have returned with the new bid in the hope that the extra cash, plus shifting two players off the wage bill, will convince Chris Hughton's side to sell. Jerome too has been the subject of a failed bid already this summer. Bolton's offer for the ex-Cardiff striker was turned down.
