    Result 1-2 swans

    .................Vorm......................
    Rangel.....Chico.....Ash......Davies
    .........Britton..........KI...............
    Dyer.........Michu.........Hernandez
    .........................Graham..........

    Subs:
    Tremmel
    Tiendalli
    Routlage
    Richards
    De Guzman
    Itay
    Moore

De Guzman may take KI's place but thats looks like our strongest team and just seems a whole lot better with Chico back. Lets hope that the physicality of Stoke doesn't get to chico and he keeps his cool.

welcome Ramblin do like Tiendalli had a good game at Crawley but Davies has done nothing for ML to justify dropping him and at times been our best defender. If the pressure does get too much for the youngster then he would be called upon.

Hello Swan. You're right that Davies deserves to start and hasn't done anything particular that justifies him being benched. But i also believe, based on what I heard from the Crawley match, that it might be a good time to try Tiandalli from start and give Davies a day on the bench. Tiandalli need some Prem experience soon if he's suddenly going to replace an injured or out-of-form Davies.

I do see your point, it is a difficult one because Tiendalli my be better to cope with a very physical side like stoke but Davies is in form and would not want to stop his development and progression.

Really worried about the physicality of the Stoke team. That with the height of the forwards and long throw specialists. Think our back 4 will be in trouble again this week. We need to play a team that 'plays football' to get our confidence back. Looks like Ki being groomed as DM (only adds about 2 foot to Leon), and as a throwaway, how about Hernandez behind Michu and DG?

Tiandalli can play both left and right and did play right against Crawley but I see no reason to replace him with Rangel in the prem.

Not sure who should replace him but I think Ashley Williams would benefit from a stint on the bench.

3 - 0 to Stoke. Sincerely hope I'm talking utter balderdash.

Tiendelli would be an alternate for Rangel as would Jazz - at this point neither Rangel nor Davies should be displaced, they are our first choice. For me Davies owns left back, we're going to have a very tough time sorting out Davies and Taylor for next season. With his height perhaps Davies can play more in the center.

Pablo took a knock and may not be ready for Stoke.

Have to say I didn't rate him at all against Everton. I know it was a hard game, but the last two games he's been a bit disappointing - he keeps trying to take everyone on and just running into the opposition and getting knocked off the ball. Seems like he needs to play a bit smarter - when we click it's because we play quick give and go's - At the moment Routledge is hanging on to the ball and trying to dribble way too much, when all he needs to do is knock it inside for Michu and then race down the line for the return (like Dyer & Rangel on the right)

I think the arrival of a clearly more skilful Hernandez has unsettled him and he's trying to show off a bit to justify his place. Much more useful a player when he's threading balls through and playing simple one-twos.
