Stoke game could be off!!

Just watching sky sports news and they have reported the game could be off due to medway council not issuing a safety certificate for the game. The reason is a despute between Gillingham FC and Kent police in regards to costs and police numbers in the ground. Mr Scally is making a statement very soon via sky.

Lets hope this can be sorted ASAP!!!!

Hi BRB sky have just said a statement will be made after 4pm by scally and at this point in time no certificcate has been issued. Where have you read it is still on? if you can watch sky sports news it is one on the main topics.

Hoadie I agree I cannot believe we are having this issue the evening before kick off! I am sure they will sort it and may have already if brb sources are correct and I hope they are.

 

brb what time did you see this statement by Medway council? If it is correct and I hope it is sky are behind the current state of play as it was only 5mins ago they were still saying the game could still be off.

The Old Bill obviously did'nt have enough season tickets to get their correct allocation and hence threatened to call the game off. Brb had a word at the council and now it's all sorted.

 

LOL born again, well done brb I can go shopping now! only the Gills would be having this sort of issue this close to the game lol, Sky have also just stated the game is on. Roll on 3.00pm Saturday. deep breath!!!
