Stoke City skipper Ryan Shawcross had dismissed rumours linking him with a move away from the Britannia Stadium this summer. The 23-year-old centre-back has been repeatedly linked with moves to both Tottenham and Liverpool. But he says he is still committed to the Potters. He said: "I suppose if you are linked with clubs it shows you are doing well, but I am a Stoke player, I have signed a contract here and I am happy here. "The chairman has said the club aren't going to sell me. I don't want to leave and I am looking forward to the new season. Any young player in the Premier League is going to have speculation written about him, but it doesn't bother me." Shawcross signed a new contact with the club two years ago which ties him to Tony Pulis' side until June 2014. Stoke would stand to make a healthy profit on the player they signed in from Manchester United in January 2008 for £2 million. But the Potters have made it clear they have no intention of selling him.
