Stoke have sacked Pulis..I think that the majority of their fans will not be too unhappy with this news.

Strikes me he'd hit a ceiling and should probably have gone a wee while back mate.

I'm sure in time the Stokies will appreciate that he did great things for them, but seems the right next step to me in terms of progress.

who do you reakon will take the job.

it could be a big culture shock if a new manager go's in there and actually wants to play football

Agree with this, they have never had it so good but time for a change. Martinez favourite.

I think it may well be Poyet, given the drama at Brighton, prime time for him to jump.

Would be a great appointment too.

I called this on a thread the other day, I think it'll be more mutual agreement than a sacking. Whoever goes there has to tread carefully because if you try and change too much too soon they'll sink. Its a three year project where you slowly bring in quality and get them out of the hoof ball mentality. . I reckon Mon would fancy it but think Stoke would prefer Di Matteo or Poyet

I had West Brom for relegation this year after Hodgson went and they appointed Clarke. Funny game football.

People may disagree but I see alot of similarities with Pulis and stoke to Peter Reid's Sunderland. Pulis has gone at the right time as Ready should have when we just stayed up.

They've give themselves time to make a proper appointment and nt let themselves get to panic station and appoint a quack like Howard Wilkinson

Is it the 'Year of a New Manager' for this year Chinese New Year... There will be about 20% of the managers change at this stage. Wow that is madness...

I think you will find that sentiment is mutual!

Di Matteo favourite to replace Pulis and a good clear out on the cards which will be a blessing for us as we will no longer have to listen to your ****e chant of "all our **** players we sell them to Stoke"!
