    Stoke City Form Guide:

Stoke City FC remain in 11th place on 33 points (-8 GD) - coming off a traditional AWAY defeat to Newcastle United - we now return to The Brit to hopefully end a run of 1 win in 10 premier league games. The stats suggest we “always beat the Baggies” and considering our only away win in 24 premier league games was against our charitable neighbours, if there was ever a game which had HOME WIN written all over it – is this it? Our traditional strong(ish) home form has kept us away from the chasing pack and if there was ever a time for an ugly 3 points it is now. - having only scored 7 goals in our last 10 and conceding 21, Huth will be another big miss this weekend!

LAST 10 Premier League Games: 1 Wins; 2 Draws; 7 Losses: Points (5 from 30)
LAST 39 Premier League Games: 8 Wins; 18 Draws; 13 Losses: Points (42 from 117)

    West Brom Form Guide:

West Brom currently sitting in 8th place on 43 points (+2GD) - coming off a home win against Swansea. They have won 3 of their last 4 and the last away result was a 2-0 win over Liverpool!

LAST 10 Premier League Games: 3 Wins; 1 Draws; 6 Loss: Points (10 from 30)
LAST 39 Premier League Games: 15 Wins; 6 Draws; 18 Losses: Points (51 from 117)

If the Baggies have a really bad day , then we might scrape a 0-0. Otherwise don't want to think about it.

They are very win or lose. TP always gets a result when he needs one so for me Home win.

I believe we can get a home win. Pulis certainly needs one.

I'm going for a draw, I know Pulis is desperate for points but we still have a Huth sized hole and I think he will be conservative as he can't afford to lose.

Have voted for a home win. Why?

Simply because the home games against the Baggies, Villa and Norwich are now crucial if we are to survive this season. As a fan I do not want to see us relegated and 5 points (1 win, 2 draws) from those 3 games should see us safe. Changes, if required, should be made then not now. I still think the fans should do their bit to support the team at the Brit for the remaining home games, notwithstanding the fact that several posters on here have said they will not attend until changes are made. I understand and respect those views but I think that the fans should get behind the team at this point to help them to get the few more points for safety. If we lose these games and were to drop then it will be deserved but hey, we don't want that do we?

Yes if that's what it takes to get rid of Pulis.

Tony Pulis was on Radio Stoke this lunch time. I presume he was there to give us an inkling of what to expect on Saturday. I listened with ear glued to the radio just in case he came out with some words of wisdom which I would have ben happy to pass on. Sadly I can`t do that because HE NEVER MENTIONED STOKE CITY or even this football club. All he said was what a magnificent season WBA were having and what a good job the manager had done since taking over. I got the impression he was warning all Stoke supporters to expect another defeat on Saturday because West Brom were so good.

    TP's done his press conference:

Ethrington still a doubt and Jerome has a knock! 4-5-1 with no wingers it is then?

    Excuse me Nicky but,
I spent a couple of days in Elba it's where Napoleon docked his ship I believe? It was a nice Island too, would be a shame to inflict Clueliss on it's inhabitants.

    Let's say Alcatraz!

    I'm OKish Nicky thanks..
Will be there on Saturday and to Potter P <applause> GREAT post matie. Agreed we ALL support the team till the end of the season. I will NOT however shell out money IF Clueliss is still in charge. As for no Ether's or Jerome being a doubt???? What's new Mr Clueliss. West Brom are having an OK season nothing more. It's just that you failed to add that almost half the teams in the League. STOKE included have been S**T all season.
Neither did he mention a certain Jermaine Pennant?? still IMO our best winger by a country mile but YOU won't give him a break. Why? Fook knows I don't care how many speeding fines he has. The fact he bunked off training, missed the Everton game etc. PLAY him and we would WALK our way to that "magic 40pts" mark.

I just wish you never mentioned that 40 was the supposed safe for another season mark. I think? we've only won once since then Reading?

I'm going for a home win because it's West Brom. Lose this and Pulis is OUT IMHO> BUT I don't want us to lose any game for the sake of STOKE CITY F.C. up and at em and Keep the Faith guys..

I actually thought we were better today, but we lack quality and conviction. I thought Ethrington was better but without another winger he is under too much pressure to carry the ball. I think the problem when we play better is that I highlights what a poor side we have become.

Missed the game completely, sorry to anyone who uses my streaming links, finished work at 9 yesterday morning and ended up sleeping all day.

From what I gather we were a bit better than recent weeks, but still not good enough.
Time to see what MOTD has say. I assume we're on last?

It was rubbish but a better class of rubbish. :emoticon-0116-evilg To be honest it was much better than we have been watching recently but it was not the standard that we should expect from a club that has spent £100m on new players.
