Evening guys.. As I said a week or so back, I really do have too many things happening right now other than football and this forum so... I will continue until we as a group can find at least 1 even better 2 new Moderators, to help keep the Stoke City board. I'll give it say 2/3 weeks to give all you guys the chance to either... 1. Offer to be a Moderator or 2. Help out as a 2nd Moderator. So far Sandor, formally known as " Pistol" has told me he would be willing to put himself forward for nomination and.. Tenterden Potter or "Cris" also offered to help out too! Thanks to BOTH of you for doing that I really appreciate it. So, can all the regular posters please put forward a name of your choice or even better, you might consider doing what for the most part is fairly easy to carry out. I just do not have the time anymore lads. Thanks in advance to anyone who fancies a shot at this. Let's just see over the first few days how things pan out. I will in time contact the Senior Moderators and inform them of the majority decision. It has to be done by a " Poll system" as per the forum rules. Smither's I do not have a clue where he is, what he's up to etc? So, I will P.M. Sgt AGAIN and if I don't get a reply I'll contact one of the senior moderators. The sooner we get this sorted Smither's the better IMO. Can I ask a favour of you please? I know in the past you have posted one of the poll thread, i'm not sure on how to do that, if you could post one mate that would be ideal. Of course anyone can nominate whom they choose and maybe make that 2 nominations. I will be away for 3 weeks Nov 10th to Dec 1st on holiday. IF we can get it all done by then that would be brilliant. Just let me know if you can post a New Thread mate and I'll get back to you. I think that's enough time to get through the whole process. Looking forward to all the regulars posting their oppinions etc in the next few days. And, I have put a sticky on the thread until we find other's who are willing to take over. As Potts said, I've put myself forward to be a moderator. I've done this job before on another forum a while back. I'm quite "relaxed" in terms of Modding, as I've said before regarding Twitter, most offensive stuff should be over looked, it's only in extreme situations, or if things get too personal that I'd feel the need to step in. But we've got a good bunch here, so it'll just be a case of keeping those pesky Arsenal fans away. Oh, and vote for me.

I am still up to help on this front. I think I may be sharper at deleting posts which are personal and offensive. I hope those of your regulars know enough about me to provide the odd vote. Smither's That's OK mate thanks for doing that for me. Let's give it another week? on here. See who feels they can step up and be counted, if not that's fine too! So far we have Sandor and of course Cris thank YOU both for that. And as I said Smither's I'm sure we can get by with ONE Mod and Cris as a 2nd in command or Visa Versa depending on the Poll result. We could of course vote for BOTH Sandor and Cris, as IMHO both are level headed, fair and post with some thought. So let's see if there are more than 2 posters who put themselves forward in the next week or so. Much appreciated Smither's Pott's and P.S. Potts, the 2 gents who have so far put their names in the hat will get my vote. I am not sure what is involved in moderating and I doubt I would have the time to do it anyhow but I do enjoy posting and reading this forum so would like it to continue. Thanks to you and Sgt for acting in the role so far and I hope you both continue to post your views, opinions and 'rants' if necessary relating to the Mighty Potters on this forum.
Is Sgt standing down as a moderator aswell? Only asking as i've not heard from him for a while and it seems pointless him being a mod if he ain't modding, so to speak.
P.Potter Of course I will keep on posting, just personal stuff and lack of time means I really need to give up (some of my time on here) and thanks P.P. I have enjoyed it. It's ONLY very occasionally that something crops up that is loads of hassle etc. Otherwise I've no problem continuing until 2 new mods are nominated... Oh and whoever said Smither's for Moderator that's 3 and counting. Thanks to all thos guys for that. I'm sure Smither's could still post a " Poll Thread" we all TRUST you Smither's it's not a problem mate. The ONLY thing I ask is that you vote but not for yourself of course! As for David Cameron, overseeing this board I WOULD cancel my account in a flash!

Potter P Thanks for putting yourself forward mate So far we have Sandor, Smither's and your good self PLUS Chris (tentertenpotter) said he would gladly help out. I think? 2 Mods is enough and as far as I know it's the norm on most boards to cover holidays etc.. not too difficult a job Potter P it's just (trying) to make sure that (threads) don't get out of hand etc. Kind of being firm but on the whole fair with how you handle things. We are LUCKY that this board needs very little (moderation) compared many others. I had not done it before Potter P it gives you certain powers e.g. to open thread, edit them, delete them ONLY if that's what it's needs, put a sticky on a thread. I'm sure you would pick it up in no time.. I'm still waiting for Smither's to post a POLL thread, that way, we can all vote for whoever we think would be best suited. I'm SURE Potter P that whoever is ideal for the job... I'll let Smither's know you are up for it Potter P. Cheers Pott's
