We knew exactly what to expect and we got it in bucket fulls, even so how the **** can Peter bean pole crouch the tallest player in the universe get a free header at a corner!

Step forward Chico, from the sublime to the ridiculous today, maybe he was rusty eh?

What is it with us not playing until the second half ? It's too late then! Pathetic 1st half today, no bottle out on the field and no generals to lead the troops either.everton were a good team, stoke were stoke! we look like a team with a hint of relegation fodder about us at times .

Playing narrow is killing us, quite a few times players got in each others way or looked up to find their winger on the opposite side of the pitch! I'm all for movement but it has to have structure.

Pablo h. Basically we play with 10 men in the team when he is in the team! I know it may take time and that I'm over reacting but this boy to play ahead of rout ledge is a disgrace, he offered absolutely nothing for 2 games straight and constantly gives the ball away cheaply, it was woeful to watch.

We have big problems ahead, the defense isterrible and ain't getting better till January IMO , I can see why ash Williams was an apparent dissenting voice in pre season now, it's because he realized that without midfield protecting the defense will be hammered every week and he will need to work extra hard is a result of this.
Ben Davies is too inexperienced to play every week,if he is getting turned inside out so easily by knightly what is a decent winger gonna do to him?

Every game is throwing up more questions than answers, never expected to win at stoke but our 1st halts are pathetic and it leaves us too much to do.

    Bright spots?

Ki, without doubt for me,my man of the match,he looks very good and a great signing.
Routs was great dyer and Leon tried DG and michu were invisible and Hernandez and Chico looked like a pile of **** !

Onwards to the next game, which in fairness is a game we would expect to get something from,if like me you had us down to lose against everton,QPR stoke then we are a bit better off than I expected us to be.

We need to simplify our game plan though, there are too many new faces playing a new system with old faces the result at times is that we look like 11 strangers on The field!

Anyway, I know I'm moaning but it had to be said

Onwards and upwards to 3 pts next game

I know what you mean Norway.

Very disappointed with the game today. No fight from the players and you have to do that against Stoke. Very frustrated with Chico his defending was awful never even looked like picking up Crouch for the first goal. Thought we were slightly unlucky with the second goal with it ping ponging off player and lands at the feet of Crouch.

As you say onwards and upwards.

Pretty much as I see it too, I told you Ki is better than De Guzman in that position, but Hernandez has been a big disappointment, more than De Guzman, we need to get Routledge to start, and Davies off at left back, it's too much for the boy! Our midfield game has gone to pot at the moment, which is what I expected with Joe going, it's leaving too much for Britton to do, let's hope the new boys start clicking into place soon. beaten by the Crouch show, how predictable and obvious was that?....................<ok>

Think the young lad Davies needs a rest. Tindialli (Not sure if it's spelt like this) should start the next game.

I don't think our midfield was so bad, we played some great stuff in the second half and looked like getting back into it, I'm starting to wonder if caulker really did make ash look better than he was, but it's probably more to do with th e new system and ash and the defenders having to graft for themselves.

Hernandez has obvious talent but maybe he needs to just play wide instead of wandering around the pitch exposing Ben Davies to attacks, that is a bad tCtical mistake by laudrup IMO as his star player is crucifying Ben and that will erode his confidence, not good!

A few more games to go before I make my final judgement on ML, these are the games he needs to really learn about, the bread and butter of perm football has been served to him the last few weeks and it should help him learn a lot about what is required.

The defensive game is the weakness, it was always going to be with our injury problems though so no surprise really, Chico needs a haircut and to work on his consistency within the 90mins, we are far enough into the season for players to start having an understanding but it's not looking that way to me which is a worry.

Stoke away, always a stoke win but the manner of the first half performance was not acceptable IMO

What Martinez new was that our backline needed protecting by a very strong 5 man midfield, the issue with Laudrup is, that his fast offencive game, is pulling our midfield to the limit, exposing our backline to easy counter attack, and we do not have a strong enough defence to hold out!..........<ok>

The fact is that laudrup is just not good enough for premiership football. He has turned us into a slow ordinary side that is no better than league one. The flair has gone the passing has gone, the players look uninterested and just going with the flow. you could see leon not happy playing laudrups inapt way of playing the game. The new players are good players but they wont be good under laudrups way, they have all said the joined us because of the way we played our football last season and if we had continued that way they would relish that type of football. we are playing laudrups way and it is dragging us backwards with none of the players last season doing well like Vorm, leon, rangel and ash.....They have all failed to put in a good performance since laudrup changed the way we play and i dont think we will survive if we carry on playing like that...

dont be daft man...qpr game was the first game where our players were still employing Brendan way and we looked good. but game by game if you are observant we have been slowly playing laudrups way and getting worse with every game.....The quicker laudrup realizes that his type of football wont work at Swansea and get back playing the martinez/susa/Brendans way of keeping the ball and slick passing the better we will play. We look terrible from start to finish and no confidence whatsoever with the players and fans...you have to be blind not to see how much our good football has dropped....everyones talking about it in the pubs and clubs around swansea...

vorm has not been a patch on last season. he has left in some silly goals. but the defence has not helped whoever has played there.

If we were playing the same way as we were last season, we wouldn't have hammered qpr and we've have probably been hammered by sunderland. I don't think any of the other results would have been any different.
I still think Laudrup has got more about him than Rogers did, he's done a hell of a lot more in the game and has forgotten more than Rogers has ever known.
Pep Guardiola said that Laudrup taught him everything he knows about football. Brendan Rogers had a spell under Jose Murinhio, 2 crap spells in the championship, and 2 good seasons with a side that were already banging on the door.
I know where my trust lays

Sorry, but the QPR performance was not a Brendan style performance at all. Both Dyer and Routledge came off their wings and attacked more centrally, causing problems, and scoring. Under BR they would be stuck to their wings and very rarely attack more centrally.

Dai, do you make comments like this just to be provocative, or do you genuinely believe what you type? I'm never sure whether to take stuff like this seriously....

I believe the loss of Caulker, Allen and Gylfi have had a bigger negative impact on the team than we first imagined. Especially Caulker in defense.

Again we had a much better 2. half and at least that is a good sign.

Next game we should try Michu in front with Ki behind him in front of JDG and Britton. Hernandez needs to work better with Davies. Defense needs to improve and the team just needs to be ready from the get go.

And whatever ML is telling them at half time he needs to do it before kick off as well.

I'm not worried but we do need at least 4 points in the next two games.
