Everyone on here seem to be convinced we just have to turn up to collect three points against Stoke at home. Believe me, I'm more concerned with them than either Chelsea or Man City. They won't be too inclined to go at us in the way Top 6 sides do, so our effective formation of yesterday will be nullified and draw us forward. If we play 4-4-2 they may just reverse our own game and pick us off. It's one of those horrible games that won't be pretty to watch and may be going right down to the wire. Squeaky bum time indeed...

Totally agree, there are many assumptions being made such as Bolton not getting many points where as I can see them getting a reasonable haul!

Yep...there do seem to have been some early celebrations with some people even playing the "I told you so" card!!
Stoke will be no push overs for all the reasons stated. Lots of twists and turns yet!!

I fancy us for a well earned draw at Chelsea.

Worryingly, it now looks very much like the title race will go down to the last game, with Man City needing to beat us.

Even so with Stoke, like we saw with Swansea, our backroom staff will certainly do their homework and look to see an effective way of winning against them. Stoke seem to struggle away from home, so i'm certain they will look to address the issues with their away form and look to use them against them. Plus Cisse will score 9 against them as they are as slow as Brett Angell when he was at the R's

Considering what some, no doubt, think of my rambling on this forum - I'll take that as a compliment!

Can't see Sparky allowing anyone of our players to take Stoke for granted. If some of our forum make that mistake that's a matter for them. Time for the most boring cliche of all. One game at a time.

Sorry forgot to add. As a footballing team, they most certainly are. But bloody good at what they do.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush? We currently have 34 pts, Bolton 30 pts with two games in hand, so they have the potential to get more pts, but will they?

City v United... that's going to be a big'un in a long line of 'finals' for us to watch this year. A United win is the result we need to take the pressure off us at the Etihad. Are we looking for the odd dive by master Young?!!

With that kind of frank realism, you're running the risk of the rose-tints including you with me, Swords, Col and others in their 'fickle' club Sooper. Careful mate! No worries about getting points off Stoke. It's in the bag. Safe as houses, us!
