Wotcha boys! R's fan in peace.

What did you make of the game on Sat? The result pushes you back up to mid-table although from what I've been hearing over the last 12 months, a lot of you boys are unhappy with Pulis. On the one hand that surprises me because of the success he's had with you but on the other hand, now that you're an established PL outfit perhaps you want to see a more expansive style? I don't know, I'm only guessing here.

From what you seen on Sat, you reckon we're doomed?

P.S. Is Pottermouth knocking about these days?

    Swords,

Potts is on holiday and will be back in a couple of weeks. A number of us are miffed with the Pulis mismanagement system, team selection, tactics, favouritism, the usual stuff at times we are as expansive and stylish as biege emulsion, tho probably a tiny bit quicker.

Are you doomed? Well at first glance it doesn't look promising but other than the tonking by Swansalona you have not been slaughtered every week and you are scoring goals so if you can sort the defence out you are in with a chance. Win a few at home and it will be other teams that get the collywobbles, good luck for the rest of the season except for the return leg.

you were very poor,we were not very much better,if we had played 2 up front we would have scored more, crouch was playing on his own. I dont know what Jerome has to do to get a game,i thought he would be first sub on,but i for got how TP thinks.

Who do you boys consider your biggest rivals these days? I'm guessing the Vale have faded into insignificance at this stage?

A lot of frustration about with regards to Pulis. We have shown, especially against the big boys, that we can play good, positive football, but against the teams more our level we cannot do it for some reason. Plus there's the frustration of playing players out of position, his stubborn refusal to buy a proper full back (by my count he has only bought 2 natural full backs in his 2 spells) and his poor man management of certain players and picking his favourites.

I thought we were very lucky against you guys. I thought a draw was a fairer result and if any team deserved to win, it was yourselves. I was very disappointed at how we allowed Taarabt to run the show. He was terrific. At least you came and played a positive game unlike Sunderland, even if you did play 5 in the middle, which is the norm for away teams at the Britannia these days.

As for our rivals. I guess we don't really have any. There's Vale, Wolves and Brum/Villa to a much lesser extent. The one game we approach with most anticipation these days is always Arsenal as there is a great deal of bitterness on both sides, harking back to the 70's Semi Finals where we were cheated out.

I think your biggest issue is delivering a team performance, on paper you are very strong!

Indeed. And that's where Hughes comes up short.

    Good post Sgt Potter.

    For me Swords ......
Qpr were unlucky and did maybe deserve the point but the prem is a tuff hunting ground ..
If i think you will go down i would say no chance !
ask yourself the question is there 3 worse teams ... yes there are in abundance
u will be fine and i thought with a bit of luck a totally diff outcome cud of been possible
stoke r dogged if nothing else and it carried us throo on this occasion but plenty o time yet !
I dont agree that you are poor .. from what i saw it was a decent away performance ..
Away wins are hard to come by full stop in the prem ..
get the home form sorted and one or 2 results on the road its a gud un !!

If Hughes goes, who would you want in? Cannot imagine Fernandes will stand for much longer especially if you don't get a result against Southampton is it?

I agree, I thought that QPR had the better chances to be honest and they could have easily scored a couple. I dont think you will go down, I think you will come good, there is way too much talent in your squad to be relegated.
