My thoughts going into this one is think Mansfield and Bradford, both who we lost to 2-0, despite us being on our best run of the season - so I can see why the thoughts above are around the same outcome. Barrow have proven there is a way pass Stockport, so the question for me is what has Neil Harris learned from our only defeats under the new owner. We know we now have a team to beat off relegation, but we are short of a team good enough for the challenge of the autos. However, that should not be an excuse, every middle of the road team can beat even the most hardy of challengers on the day, and with a bit of technical know how from the gaffer we can do this! Or as the Black Knight (Monty Python) would say 'None shall pass' but after putting his body on the line 'Alright we'll call it a draw' Stockport 1-1 Gills (Ehmer)
Good Evening MKB Fans. Not sure what to make of tonight, only scored twice in three games and both goals were scored by defenders!!!!!!!!! So where are the strikers we have? They started well against lower opponents, but just don't seem to be doing what they should be doing. O,Brien should have buried, the chance he had Saturday and I feel that would have changed the whole game, it was only two minutes in. We travel north again, surprised we did,nt stay over. Has the Gaffer got things right yet? Thought after a few games of many changes he had some idea of a format. Strikers need help, But they should still make their own gains. And I cannot see it. The Gaffer made a comment about tonight's side. They are a side of riches???????? Not sure if this is aimed at the owners or the side. He seems to know what he wants but is still in later results applied it. I can see a defeat tonight, but they have hit a bad patch in their previous two games, but they are in a great place and can bounce back. 10.000 Saturday. Amazing gate for a small club and another attendance tonight, similar would without a doubt put the game in their favour. I am hating myself for this. But it seems the inevitable away loss and a long journey home for the supporters without a point.
