Rumours on the Hull board are that they've potentially got a deal sorted to make his move to the KC permanent in January.... As he is transfer listed (apparently) there is every likelihood he'll be leaving Fulham soon and I thought he was the best keeper we've had at the club for years and always spoke of us in glowing terms as he seemed to enjoy his time with us. We could do a lot worse than bring him back however I can't see it happening
I don't think there's a town fan around that wouldn't want to see him sign, was a very good keeper for us.
I don't think there's a chance of this happening. Signing Davis to be first choice and help bring through Loachy with ALB as back up sounds like a winning combination.
Could we even afford stockdale. Without a doubt the best we've had between the sticks for a few years and would be more than welcome back. And what has happened to alb. Thought he showed real promise and with all the goals we were shipping thought he may have got a chance.
ALB i fear is only here to make the numbers up, we had a number of young keepers on trial to play for our under 21's but none seemed to impress PJ so I imagine ALB is here because PJ couldn't find a replacement, which is a shame for him as he comes across as a decent bloke who wants to play for the Town but unfortunately he lacks the consistency and you always feel another clanger is just around the corner. Back on to Stockdale, I wouldn't imagine he would be silly money to buy given Fulham's intention to sell, whether we would be willing to offer 'reasonable' money is where we usually fall down but I'd fancy there would be a bit of a bidding war if he was to move and that was almost certainly rule us and our Clegg out of the running due to our stringent 'no bartering policy'
