http://hammyend.com/index.php/2011/07/stockdale-set-for-leeds-switch/? the interesting part of that which i have read in a few articles about stockdale is that Jol doesnt want to loan him to a preimiership club because he wants a 24hr recall clause in the contract or so they say, and you are not allowed to do this if you are loaning to a club inside the premiership. so if we do get stockdale, he will obviously be number 1 but fulham can recall him as soon as they want if schwarzer gets injured and if that happens we're stuck with rachubka. But anyway it looks quite probable that we may get stockdale
but Grayson said something about only wanting loanees he could have for a full year. Can't see him relying on Stockdale with a 24 hr recall clause.
It looks like it might happen, fulham have 2 good goalies on there books including Stocky. Plus his wife would love a year back at leeds
How does this recall clause work? Would he be allowed to come back when Schwarzer recovers or would he be gone for good?
With the reluctance to meet wages this season it might be Graysons only option. We are fast running out of keepers to be linked with
Stockdale will be signed today I,m sure on a season long loan deal with the 24 hour clause we will get a good keeper and they will get a keeper with game practice
Keep up Josh, I've been on about this for days . Anyway Fulham have every intention of loaning him out for the full season, it's only in an absolute emergency they would want him back, and honestly I think that's a risk worth taking for having the best GK in the division.
Latest I've heard is he's travelling to Scotland now to sign for the season before the end of the week and will sign again if we get promoted. This really would be fantastic news.
looking at his twitter, he's going to NI tomorrow then back friday when his move will be sorted. he's been having loads of banter with leeds fans, so has his wife and it looks promising. hope it happens!
His wife could not be making it any clearer that she wants to come back to Leeds with him in tow. Love it having the rule maker on our side for once! Ben`s right he is off to NI til Friday, but reading between the Tweet lines of his and her comments it looks like something has been discussed today and we may be in for some good news come the weekend. He is a right keeper, would love to have him here, plus he is an Armley lad as well.
