According to the HDM... "An approach to loan Fulham keeper David Stockdale was tabled this week and that could yet be given the green-light before tomorrow's trip to Peterborough. City are hopeful of finalising a deal for the 27-year-old until the end of the season, a deal that would bring an end to their recent goalkeeping problems at least until May."
The key words in that sentance are Apparently Could Promoted haha.. it is our club we're talking about, we're always having a bit of gloom somewhere
I agree, I think we were desperately trying to sign a striker and keeper in time to play this weekend, but as we almost certainly won't play this weekend, the pressure's off.
I don't know if thats a good thing or not though, because the pressure could of helped with the signing of a new striker, so SB may get lazy about it?
David Burns ‏@bbcburnsy Steve Bruce confirms stockdale on way back #hcafc more on @stockogk1313 . Steve Bruce confirms he should be on his way back on loan and in team tomorrow if paperwork sorted. #hcafc
I'd take something Brucey has just said in his pre-match press conference as fact, rather than some local rag.
It says on Newsnow Fulham manager Jol wants to keep Stockdale at the club and not let him out at the moment so thats typical of the week we are having, Lose to Sheffield Wednesday, Elmo gone back, Cambell picking Cardiff, Aluko injured and now Fulham wanting to keep Stockdale, Keep your heads up lads
BBC Humberside Sport ‏@HumbersideSport Hull City boss Steve Bruce says they hope to complete the loan return of keeper David Stockdale from Fulham this afternoon. #hcafc Blows this thread out of the water really.
