    Would be very happy to have him as well as the Portugese keeper though I think we're limited to only two long term loans now we're in the prem. Might hamper our options should we wish to go for full back Ryan Bertrand.

    How long is long term? We've already got Caulker, if we got Bertrand on a 3 month, is that long term? Just let it expire then renew it again in January (although that does seem like too easy a way around it...).

    Caulker is only guaranteed until January. he is on a season long loan with the option for either club to review in January. I don't know if that counts as a long term loan and am not aware of any 2 player limit.

    Apparently Fulham have turned your loan offer down because they don't want him going to another Prem team and reports are suggesting he's coming to us :). Not saying this is 100% by the way, just what I've been hearing (fairly reliable sources though)
