With Del and Doc firmly in place, taking 7 points out of 9,our super new signing scoring on his debut,1st home win, movement up the table,I thought brilliant, people can now see we are on the move...

Then I had a look at the latest stats, they are all still saying we're for the drop,I hate frigging statistical knowalls.

Right I'm off to take the pills and get me coat...

They're probably just banking on it being New Manager Syndrome.

We've cut the amount of points we were adrift by 3-4 games ago and we've overtaken Donny and Coventry and are hot on the coat tails of Watford, Barnsley, Portsmouth and Forest, but the hard work in climbing away from bottom of the league and getting to a point of safety is still to come.

Keep the faith, we're going in the right direction now Millen is gone, but there's a way to go before we can celebrate

Take the bookies for every penny they have....

I mentioned last week BEFORE our win that I had put a £5 e/w to win the division at 500/1 - clearly we are not going to do that but 1/5 the odds for a top 3 finish seems incredibly rash on their part or so I thought until I saw that we are now 750/1 AFTER taking 7 points from 9 so I had had another £5 e/w as I reckon that it is not beyond us. £20 to win £1,250 seems reasonable to me as I have absolute faith in DMC

when bookies make the odds they do things like I did in a post the other day, they look at the wider picture, at what teams have or dont have.

they look at the potential pitfalls like a team being in the top 3 /4 but not yet played teams in the top 6, similar for teams in the bottom, who have they played in the top 6.

Prem It is more likely the odds have widen due to the potential of the teams in the top 6/10 securing those final top 3 positions than us actually failing to improve.
Also they make book daily (or all the time)

offer a team at say 4/1 Fav one day few days later at 2/1 or 5/1, at 4/1 they look to pay out 4, dont forget there are at least 10 teams that will always think they can do it, the closer to the end the more they increase other teams odds and lap up the money..for £20 you have a good deal, if it works!
