Yes we stopped the losing run that's the only good thing that came out of today. If Heaton wasn't on top form it would of been another loss. We we're never going to score all game unless we were gifted the penalty like we were. Very negative set up. Danns looks like he's going to be what was expected and that's a very very good player Bates had a decent game along with Bryan but for god sakes del never play that formation again. Imo Davies should be the first player on the team sheet.

We now move on to 2 very hard away games where 0 points is likely. Would say our home games are where the wins will come from but we got wolves next..... Good point but we needed 3. A lot of work to be done still.

Couldn't get there today, but followed it on line, can't believe we let such a important lead slip.
I look forward to everyones view of the game, it's a point and stopping the rot, but is it good enough?

On the contrary Shiny - when you have lost 7 on the bounce, you have to change it, go back to basics, make it harder for the opposition to score and STOP THE ROT....

We all know how good Blackpool can be in midfield so we went about 6 in ours, Steady on his own up front with, I thought, Danns breaking from midfield to support him, that didn't quite work out but, we looked a lot more solid today.

Have to say, Bates looks a quality player - very composed on the ball, Neil Danns was good but needs games and I thought that Joe Bryan had another good show, very tidy player. Can't wait to see him in action when we are more positive as he does love to overlap and whip in a good cross...

Over all, much better - we sacrificed some attacking threat to be more solid in midfield and grind out a result but that is our lot at the moment and everyone put a shift in and did what they were supposed to. A draw was probably fair today, onwards and upwards...

Have to say I agree with Prem, Shiny your wrong and the weakest player was your hero.

We looked hungry and like we wanted it. Bryan done a good job on Ince no one expected anything and if we can break this injury time curse we would of had a clean sheet. People forget that if Heaton keeps us in a game good that's his job.

Bates looks like the player we have been waiting for just back from a bad injury so will get better. Danns likewise I said to friends before the game he is only just back playing so will be rusty.

Even the player I can't stand had a good game, 2 inches lower would of scored a cracker. Albert even tracked back to defend and today done that well.

As to their penalty which should never have been because of the foul on Anderson. The linesman on the Dolman side was a ****ing nightmare if he played the game correct Albert and Stead were offside but Danns coming through was not. Total ****ing cock could of cost us in the first half the amount of times he kept his flag down when Kevin Philips was always offside!

Stead should off used his brain and went round the keeper clean through and tried to curl round him.

Big well done for Steve Davies to have the bollocks to take the penalty because if I'm being honest I was not confident when Albert placed the ball.

    Well done to Steve Davies

And hands up to anyone who would of taken a point if handed to them at 3pm

Performance was good, but like I said if Heaton wasn't spot on today we would have lost, so the defense is still not up to scratch. Heaton should not have had to made that save but somehow Ince was first to the ball, far to many uncomfortable moments and I think everyone in that ground knew it would go against us at 1-0

Shiny come and sit with me, I guarantee you will see a better game than the Eastend cracking for atmosphere but in the Dolman you can see players positioning and Marv passing to the ref. And I guarantee if you saw him pass to Albert when Albert was coming back from 10 yards offside. Great at breaking play up but ****ing look up please.

We will improve you can see that Batss is barking orders at Fontaine, they held onto the ball stopped Blackpool doing what they do playing football. Pearson played well and a fit Danns breaking forward from midfield I can see that lineup working.

My wife is constantly tweeting about Davies being her hero and even told 20p by tweet tonight.

The proof will be if they can push on from this Ipwich got dicked 6-0, Wednesday lost don't know about Posh but we looked like a team today, not the disfunctional team last week. My monies on Kilkenny and Fontaine getting a roasting last weekend?

Don't worry Shiny we have more negative posters on here that if there today would be whining on.

Feel sorry for Cidered Abroad bit like me Welsh and support City so see's us draw but had heartache by our biggest boogy team last night Western Samoa.

I was gutted about todays game. Yes we got a point from a penalty that i would question but the team selection and tactics against have to be questioned. If we were playing a Blackpool who were in form we would have got played off the pitch. Luckily we played them when they are stuggling for form and if they had taken their chances would have won.
I dont see how fans can be happy watching such a defensive display at home.

Heaton was pure class tonight and the defence had a good game but could have been different if Matt Phillips was fit for them.

Midfield was poor. Albert still great at running but there is just no end product and its getting predictable. Elliott didnt appear to do much apart from going down injured. Kilkenny shouldnt be at the club, a very negative play who if your lucky will pass side ways but usually plays the ball backwards. Pearson I dont understand, HE IS NOT A WINGER so why try and play him there, he comes too central and because he cannot be found on the left the ball has to go down our right. Breath of fresh air when Anderson came on in the second half. Positive is Danns had a very good game and wouldnt say no to signing him full time.

Stead, where do I start. I know people on here love him and he has a high work rate but thats because he doesnt lead the line. top goal scoring strikers are lazy and selfish. You had two strikers on tonight one end we had stead who went wide or dropped very deep in to midfield or defence looking for the ball which then meant we had no one up rom. On the other side of the pitch you had Phillips who spent the whole game between our two defenders always trying to push past the last defender. If you are going to play Stead you need to go two up top to allow Stead to go walk about but him on his own leads us with no one and thats before I even mention the fact that he has a poor first touch, cant win anything in the iar, poor shooting and gives too many freekicks away for being a big bloke. So I'd have to say he is 5th choice striker for me. Taylor is consistant that he will win anything played up to him and can hold the ball up. Davies is a complete striker and Sam is a poacher / fox in the box.

I may be old fashioned but I am a 4-4-2 man. Love to have two wingers and two strikers that are in the middle. For me we started the season playing that way with Woolford and Albert wide and Taylor and Stead in the middle and it worked. Now Del wants to play 4-5-1 pack the midfield and hope the defend out the game but we will not stay up playing this way. also 5-6 changes a game is not good for the squad moral which is already low.

Good to see Bobby Reid come on just should have been from the start instead of Kilkenny.

Penalty against us was a disgrace. Just watched it 3 or 4 times on slow-motion on the Goals Express programme and it his Bates back. He does brilliantly to turn in the air and get his body in the way, but the ref clearly wanted to even matters up so gave a pen.

That's the breaks when you are at the bottom. But with the POSH result, we are no longer bottom. Wolves have not won in 7, so it should be a good game.

    Hi ROD.
Yes Friday evening was very disappointing. No atmosphere in the crowd mainly because about 25-30% of them were young children. It's good for low prices to attract tomorrows fans with their families but they don't stoke up the team the way adult rugby fans do. (Same thing at football when there's lots in at quid a kid) Even the national anthem was tepid.
As for the team, they've now lost 5 on the bounce and it may well be seven after Australia in a couple of weeks. But like City you can't keep a good side down and they'll start the recovery in the 6 nations just like we did against Blackpool.
