Still in with a shout for the title ?

A win today could put us level on points with Chelsea in 3rd (depending on the spuds) and right back in contention to push both Utd and City in the new year.

We've got players coming back from injury, but we also have players leaving for the ACON. So January could be a very interesting time both on the pitch and in the transfer market.

If a striker becomes available, I think Wenger might go for it. If we can keep up our great run into the new year too, then there's no reason why we can't push for the title. Even if we don't win it, I'd fully expect us to be in the top 4 at the end of the season.

A far cry from the beginning of the season, where some of our fans were saying we'd make mid table at best.

 

I never write anyone off till about mid-end of feb. If you win today it puts you right back in contention though.

The import an thing for us is not to really look at title prospects till we get to about march, just take each game as it comes and look to get into the position above were we currently are. Today will be a huge test but i think that we are ready for it, city will be looking to bounce back and we will really need to keep the ball well and dictate the game, if we let them have the ball then they will score because they have so much class in their side. But ramsey arteta and song need to be really brave and get on the ball whenever they can and link the play because we can definitely hurt them but it will come down to how song handles silve but we really need to focus on our own performance rather than what they are going to do and play our natural game and we will get chances.
