I said yesterday morning (pre kick off) that if were still in the hat for todays semi final draw, that I would be very, very happy and for that alone, I am obviously a happy chap this morning.

Events since have sobered my initial joy somewhat and football has taken a back seat for the moment but the competition will continue and of course we all hope and pray young Muamba recovers fully.

As for the replay, I'd say we are no more certain to win as we were yesterday, as this is still a tough fixture but with the return for possible selection of Sessegnon, Cattermole and Richardson, we will be better and stronger for it.

In between that replay, we have 2 EPL games and 2 very winnable ones at that. I'd be happy with 4 points from the 2 games and a victory in the Cup and a continuation of this already incredible season.

    Just a thought here...

Could the dates now have to changed...due to the Spurs/Bolton delay?

Has there been any announcement about a rearranged tie? Probably a bit early yet?

I really hope the lad pulls through.

Would prefer Liverpool/Stoke in semi's (if we get past Everton). Think we can beat either of them comfortably.
