Well here it is and with a final flourish Woopert and BornPompey smashed the rest of the field (even if only 2 sounds good) with 15 points each both with 3 correct scores leaving Lawro and Anti on 8 apiece - so the points awarded are Woops and BornP. 10 points and Lawro and Anti 8 leaving the final table thus:- Anti 264 Born Pompey 246 Lawro 234 Woopert 232 Thanks for staying to the end guys a point to ponder if we do this when the new season starts maybe it would be an idea to award the actual points gained in a given round rather than the 10 9 8 etc it would give a truer reflection of tipping ability - thoughts if any Congrats to Pompey in the final surge at the end of the season just shows what the right manager can achieve - also to my team who had their best points score in the P.L. - onwards and upwards to both. ATB and non of us got the 3 relegation teams correct. Hope the new Avatar meets with approval - Susannah York(sigh)
Congrats Anti, could not quite catch you but a good end to the game........cant believe the week I smash it so does Woops well done woops Hopefully we will have a few more in our league next season, and agree with you Anti, points accrued = points on the board, far easier to manage and better reflection on predicting BP
BP. You didn't quite catch anti, who I've heard BBC are after to replace Alan Hansen on Match of the Day, as a football pundit..... Well done anti for (a) your resounding win, and (b) taking over from Stewie when he was unable to continue Agree with you and BP re. the awarding of points next season. What we now need is a massive recruitment drive for next season
