Whats every ones opinion on how he has done ince he has arrived? Downing's mad quiet a quiet start to his Liverpool career in the sense that he hasn't been one of the main headline makers. But he has don well to get his head down and just playing with out lapping up to much attention. I think he is a very reliable player, who has been over shadowed by Adam, Enrique and Henderson. But I'd like to see more goals and assists from him.
I always thought he was an average player capable of great things every now and then. I've seen nothing to change my mind. At 20mill though he's not done enough yet.
I agree with this, I remember there was a big argument during the summer between who is better between Downing and Young. They're both average players who are capable of doing good things. Downing can do a lot better than he has already done, there is plenty of time. Would personally like to see Adam Johnson come in.
