Has been told he can leave Liverpool. I personally feel he could do a good job for us. There's buts though: Him and Johnson on the wings, work ethic is a real worry. If we want to play 2 upfront then where will that leave Sess?
I think that either him or AJ yes both together no for the reasons you say. We need players who do not wilt when it gets a bit hairy and, at present it is getting hairy.
Can Defo see it happen. Will get him on the cheap, him sess & AJ wud be quite fluid in there play. I wouldnt mind the move. Use McLean as an impact sub. It will only confirm that sess will stay in his current position as mentioned above.
i cant see why sess cant play centre mid him and catts in the middle johnson and downing swapping sides and fletcher wickham up top, sounds good to me..
i would not be surprised if long term we went with (obviously if we got Downing)... ----- ???????????? ------- Cattermole ----- ---------------- Sessegnon --------------- - Johnson ------- Fletcher ------ Downing -
Was just thinking of that kind of formation poolie. Downing has been totally shank for about 18 months but sometimes moves just don't work out - a fresh start and he could be the player he was. So long as his wages aren't exorbitant its well worth a punt. Perhaps that gap in DM would be Danny Rose? Then you need to seriously rework your defence.
He'd do outstanding if he leaves Liverpool, sometimes it just doesn't work when you move to a club like that. if he came here people would start to see that he's one of the best wide men around. MoN got the best out of him at Villa and I think he would again. ................new cm.......cattermole.......... Johnson............sessegnon......Downing ..........................Fletcher.......................... That could cause some damage. If in the next two windows on top of this we manage to get a new centre back and tie Rose to a permanent deal id be chuffed
Im definitely liking this set up, although Downing isnt a must as McClean is fine there for now so we can concentrate on a new CM. I know this has been said to death but Diame would have been perfect for that gap.
Yep!!! Can't understand why we weren't in for him (at least as far as we know) - Maybe, in the words of David Lee Roth, the Bright Lights, City Lights attracted him too much.
Apparently we were in for him but he chose them over us. So yes, the bright lights swung it for this young man.
Suppose it is working really well for him at the Hammers so I guess he made the right move, injured at the minute like but will be back straight in the team.
