    A pricey acquisition at £20 million, making him the 4th most expensive player in Liverpool history. The player was brought in to score and make goals.

    42 league games later, his stats are as follows;

    Goals - 0
    Assists - 0

    Astounding!

    missing his stats in cups and stats surrounding secondary assists. Statistics in football should be treated the same way in which a drunk treats a lampost - for support, not illumination

    They say stats can tell you anything yet nobody can produce stats to show Brendan Rodgers is a quality manager. Funny, that.

    Downing's stats before Liverpool were a **** of a lot more justification for a chance at a big club than the corporate conman in the dugout.

    Even Tomkins is starting to question whether Rodgers actually has the chops.

    He's blind to Kenny's mistakes. £35m and £20m was best spent on two overrated English players in his eyes. But that's Comolli's error. Kenny did no wrong.
