Of course you can. The only problem is, after his assured performances - and goals so far this season, he'll set you back £5.5 million! Seriously, though, he has been superb for us, normally playing as a lone striker. Surging runs, dragging defenders out of position to exploit gaps for our midfield and top class hold-up play. Thank you very much
£5.5 million????? We can get at least £20million if we sell him to liverpool, just look at what they paid for a pony tail, oh just realised maybe that it what they paid all the money for.
So far, he has been brilliant, often leading the line on his own. I hope he can keep it up all season and end up with around 15 goals for the season
Morison has been an excellent buy for us. Just goes to show that a lot of the so called experts who predicted at the start of the season that we didn't have enough Premiership quality players often get it wrong. If you have an astute manager like Paul Lambert who knows what he is doing, there really isn't any need to pay astronomical sums for players. Just look at what Chelsea paid for Torres, who's been a complete flop.
Morison has scored more goals (in the Premier League and League Cup) for Norwich than Torres has for Chelsea (in the Premier League, FA cup and Champions League and League Cup) in fewer appearances. So if Morison was £2.5mill and Torres was £50mill. That's just over £416,666 per goal for Morison and £10mill per goal for Torres. Morison has a goal to game ratio of 0.4. 6 goals in 15 games. Torres has a goal to game ratio of 0.143. 5 goals in 35 appearences.
Like most of our players he is grateful to PL and NCFC for the chance to play in the promised land and gives it his all. Has been, in my opinion, our most consistent performer this year.
and we have repayed him by making a great and clever song in name. MOOOOOOOORIIIISSSOOOOOOONNNNN MOOOOOOOOORRRIIISSSOOOOOOOOONNN
Based on those ratios, if both played 38 games then Moriosn would have 15.2 goals and Torres would have 5.434 goals
.....add holty into the equation, who has had to make do with sub appearances lately and it shows what a waste of money torres was at £50million ( also what a brilliant manager PL is ).
Don't worry Wonky, Dave can be really hurtful at times! What do you call an acoountant at the bottom of the ocean? A start!
Sorry Dave, I was joking. You know, calling him an accountant. Meant to be funny not offensive. Looks like its my turn to get my coat!
