Anyone else got a view on this. They were a combative team and there were certainly a lot of stoppages and people unnessarily rolling about, but I thought we lost because we didn't have a shot on goal. Do you think we have a case for asking the League to have their win rescinded?

they did a lot of time wasting and playacting and feining injuries but the fact is we were not good enough on the day to beat them so its all water under the bridge now,but i do think the fa should look into their games because there are a few teams complaining about their antics

Your honour, with more time we might have had a shot on target and what's more your honour it might have gone in and, with the right ref, we might have been given another goal, in which case we would have won. I rest my case your honour.

I'm still here Rocky. Going slightly mad as you may have guessed. I'll be going home next Wednesday, probably but not definitely. How about a drink before I go back. Haven't had one since I've been here.

Sorry that is a lie. I had a beer with MW curry the other night. But I haven't been out for a drink.

Yeah I heard about this on sky news, They are a joke, Bunch of cheats, Doing that is well out of order, I noticed something was weird as through Gills game against them we had 14 mins extra time on 90 minutes split between first and second half

hoadie boi,i thought they were a disgrace when they played at our place and thats not sour grapes they deserved their win but they were thugs and some of their tackles were x rated but as soon as one of our players put in a tackle their player would roll around on the floor as if he had been shot, clearly wasting time and then whilst he was on the floor getting treatment the whole stevenage side went to the dugout and got drinks and instructions from their management staff and this happened on several occasions,i have heard of gamesmanship but that was ridicioulus

Yeah agree mate, they are a very dirty team, Bunch of cheats and therefore deserve to be punished for what they are doing.
Maybe they should be deducted 10 points as you normally get something like that for cheating and they have been doing this all season and therefore have gained many points they proberly wouldn't have got if they had played properly.

I'll make myself available Rocky. I'm currently alternating between working, travelling to Lane End and back, visiting family, a bit of home help and occasionally eating. Can't wait to go home.

That's made me think of a song (again while we are winning but for the opposing team fans):
I want to go home, I want to go home I'm so tired and weary, I want to go home. Becomes Do you want to go home, do you want to go home, I'm afraid you're losing, do you want to go home.

Yeah award us the 3 points for that game, it wasn't because we were rubbish that we lost it!

To be honest I don't really see anything wrong with what they're being accused of doing. I don't like it and it can't be enjoyable to watch for both Stevenage fans and fans of other clubs. But give them credit as it's working for them and I agree with Jenny that they will make the play offs. Westley is getting the best out of the limited squad that he has available and if they do make the play offs then it will be a huge achievement for them.

I think Jenny could be right too about promotion or at least the playoffs as they seem to be picking up results. I did think that they were a decent side who decided, for whatever reason, at about twenty minutes in to just start kicking people up the arse. There was certainly a lot of rolling about, lying motionless on the floor looking for the game to be stopped and so on, but I did not realise it had been a season long tactic. Good luck to them I suppose, if nothing else it will keep them up. Shame though...League Two is often hard enough to watch with any pleasure without all that!
